DTR-CNS>Anne's_Blade has been sanctioned for:
Quote:1.2 - Cheating or exploiting game mechanics is not allowed. This can include 'multiboxing' (logging in with multiple characters at the same time), disconnecting during player encounters (post here if you disconnect by accident), abusing bugs, etc.
Consequences:
You were in the middle of a fight, and then decided to cruise away. That's fine. You set course directly through the local sun corona, nearly destroying your own ship in the process, which is an interesting tactical choice but not against the rules. However, once you finally set course for the system wall, you got cruise disrupted and immediately disconnected in space. That is against the rules.
As you were so intent on destroying your ship by driving it straight through a star, I've decided to take it one step further and deleted the ship itself.
If you require evidence, you may request such via PM from a Staff member. Only the accused or an official faction leader of the accused person's faction may request such. Once you have the evidence, and if you wish to dispute it, you may post in the Sanction Thread below. Do not continue PM'ing a staff member, as that will result in your Appeal being denied. If you PM a staff or post in the sanction thread and you are not directly involved, you are consenting to be subjected to the reprisal of my choice which may involve in game repercussions up to a ban. Blaming members of your immediate family, neighbors, friends, pets, and assorted Orcs, Trolls and any other legendary creatures may result in the use of Admin Right #CTE 750AE
I have to clarify that I am a university student and my school is very strict on students. When the power goes out at 11pm in my dormitory, it goes out. (Yes, my school has a lights-out system.)
That's exactly what happened last night, I wanted to get there before lights out so I avoided fighting as much as possible.I'm trying to get myself docked or offline at a "safe distance".And in the midst of all the fighting, I didn't realise that it was getting close to "lights out" time.
As far as the facts go, I'm just doing what I can to avoid combat and not intentionally ruining the experience for other players. The amount of hp I had left after I was "forced offline" was more than enough to dismantle my ship before it disappeared.
In summary, I don't think this was a very bad disciplinary offence, but rather a misunderstanding due to force majeure.

Please post in the DISCONNECTED thread (https://discoverygc.com/forums/showthread.php?tid=42531) if you are forced to log out of a player encounter by circumstances out of your control in the future, so that the other players may know that you are not just trying to avoid the interaction.
Roger that, I do have a somewhat weak sense of the rules in these areas, and I'm trying to be a respectable player. (I've actually never used going offline to avoid a fight before this one, no matter how much of an advantage the other team had.)
In the future I will take care to avoid this situation as much as possible, after all, from an objective point of view it is a bad influence on other players.
