Greetings.
The Admiralty Board would like to request permission for passage of a Merchant Navy convoy through Kusari space. While we're aware that Merchant Navy vessels are already permitted, the security of the convoy requires us to deploy mainline BAF units for escort, up to and including a singular Agincourt-class destroyer.
As the convoy's destination lies within the Omicron systems, our planned route extends from the Tau-31 gate in the Tau-29 system, to the Sigma-19 gate in the Honshu system. We intend to return along the same route once our business is concluded.

Admiral McKinley.
What a curious message to receive. Such matters are not exactly scope of our Ministry anymore and fall under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Defense instead. I can only assume that you are pre-occupied planning this delicate convoy's route and security details, so I took the liberty to contact Minister Kogen-sama myself and clear this matter for you. Resending messages is a hassle best avoided, correct?
The Empire of Kusari finds no reason to oppose such a convoy, quite the contrary we welcome to see our Bretonian partners try and strengthen their trade relations to the Core. All we ask for is a cargo manifest and notification twenty-four hours prior to the convoy's scheduled arrival in the Tau-29 system and respectively in Sigma-19 on the return trip.
With utmost respect,
Imperial Foreign Affairs Minister,
Toshinori Kojirou

The convoy will arrive in approximately twenty-four hours. It will carry a crew of specialist maintenance personnel and relevant supplies on its way into the Omicron systems. We will be bringing a batch of Core weaponry for our return.
