Due to the dissatisfaction over the last design, Malaclypse requested a new layout for Pueblo Bonito. Since his peneal is not online for consultation and Igiss will need the revision PDQ I am posting the designs. I have 3 choices for the TAZ to choose from. The first is to have your old PB back (The one from before the last update), then there are these two...

Let me know which is the better, or suggest a fourth (No promises on building it). Hopefully these fit your needs because I have designed this station so many times that I am getting burnt out...

EDIT:

For the sake of the LOLZ, this was one idea from an older build of baffin. I was trying to channel the City of Oz when I built it. Unfortunately it was infeasible in both terms of RP and game mechanics, but it sure was fun to make...

Wow, that mega station looks, big. Bigger then Munich Orbital Colony.
I'm not in TAZ but personally I like the first design.

Well, I'm a TAZoid, and I'm impressed with your work. Personally, my top choice is getting the old Pueblo Bonito back. I really like the way it was laid out. But I do like that tower-ish look of number three... and that super-station, while awesome (and pentagonal!), would be over-doing it.

So my vote goes to option number one: The old PB. We'll just see what the others have to say.

Thats very doable, however I should mention that each tower will not have its own name. Each system only has X slots for text, and I recycled the text IDS numbers from those towers.

When the original design of "P.B." was discussed, a theme of naming Baffin's features after ancient "energetic"/sacred places was at work.

For our Eastern hemisphere friends, "Pubelo Bonito is the name of an Anasazi "Greathouse" in Chaco Canyon, New Mexico. It was a treasure trove of astronomical knowledge, healing, and ruler straight roads to...

Here's an artist's depiction of what Pueblo Bonito may have looked like at its' peak:

notice how the walls rise at the "rear". We did our best to emulate that with the five towers of P.B., and to have the front truncated to emulate the hemispherical shape of the ruins. Our biodomes are our "kivas".

To honor that tradition, Ben, I'd like to keep our "old" Pueblo Bonito.

Oh, and could ya put it "Above" the ice, so our poor Kallisti Gold plants can get some decent light?

Why is it that all bases in Freelancer look identical regardless of their faction or culture? And, why do they all look ugly? I understand that the Freelancer developers had awful spacestation designers, but do we have to spread this filth into Discovery mod systems?

easiest way to do it. Beside, it's not that ugly. They just look very generic and lack proportion.
