Our mutual friend shared your neural net address. He would like to contact you personally, but the current situation demands his immediate attention somewhere else.
He assigned me as his proxy. We would like to inquire about the possibility of expanding our collaboration in the Omicrons, given the recent incidents.
If you are not aware, The Order engaged a convoy of inactive artifacts bound to Kusari a few weeks ago. The ambush was executed with the help of Kusari's scum, with a significant portion of the attackers carrying the Dragons' banner. Unfortunately, most of the ships were destroyed. We also registered material damages and human casualties on our escort wings.
This is a tremendous disrespect. They shall taste the bite of our scimitars, given the time is right. I hope you consider our proposal, for the best of our collective interests.
Always an interest to hear from our mutual friend. Ever so delightful, even.
And... will our mutual friend be willing to expand upon his ideas? What is it that you expect from my people? I am certain you are aware of our stances regarding a particular type of material. Is it not sufficient enough that we already clash swords with the Order?
Our level of cooperation is... shy, at the least. One of the most determining factors of our agreement was our diplomatic situation regarding the Order. Given enough time, It will be out of question entirely.
If I'm not forgotten, we are not to assist the Technocracy against the Order, and not assist the Order against the Technocracy. This might change soon, depending on your willingness. The Order provoked our fury, and I - we - are determined to make them pay.
And yes, I am well aware of the Technocracy's reservation about certain materials. This is why we should collaborate further, with perhaps an opportunity to engage in direct exchanges at a later date. With the Order out of the picture sooner or later, we have no need to hide our cooperation.
How do you envision this to proceed? What would be your first steps and points of interest? And... how would you potentially deal with the political backlash of the other Corsair clans? They would see this as treason.
Perhaps we should talk more in person to explore this... theory.
I do not know how the Elders will react to The Order's transgressions. The lack of an official statement so far implies either disagreement between the Council or initial preparations for war.
If the Elders choose to defuse the situation, we will keep our collaboration as it is.
In the case of open hostilities, the possibility of expanding the cease fire's scope to an actual agreement is very tangible. Given that the Empire will be fighting another local power, the Elders will definitely be open for bargaining.
The first step would consist of normalizing relations with a declaration of neutrality. High enough interests from both parties can eventually strengthen the agreement with an open economical collaboration. The Empire, and its proxies, would be allowed to openly trade artifacts with the Technocracy. I know that there is no better costumer than a technocrat, and you know that there is no better supplier than the Corsairs. We have been dealing with artifacts since we first set foot on Crete's sandy soil.
Finally, there is no treason if the Technocrats are no longer our enemies.
My opinion... is that much is going to change. And that we should perhaps straighten some things out in person, as you seem to have a grave misunderstanding of who we are and what we stand for.
...So I have come to the notice that the Core are anticipating an attack from a source of mine. I don't suppose this is the doing of your people?
