To whom it may concern, hello! I'm speaking on behalf of Caledonia Distributions Ltd, a subsidiary of Gateway Shipping Inc focused on premium shipping services. In practical terms, that means we specialize in just-in-time delivery, extra-long-haul trips, distribution through and into highly dangerous space, and anything that helps you cut out excess middlemen so that you can get what you need from point a to point z.
Our work very often brings us through the Taus, and some of us have taken note of Port d'Adelie's intriguing location and clientele. To me, what the populace of your station represents is a determination not to let old wounds keep you down. A fierce, locked-in focus on the future, and how it need not be an endless series of reruns of past mistakes. This is a beautiful mindset, which Gateway shares! There is nothing like honest, well-intentioned free trade to bring people closer together and help them realize that they not only can, but should, be friends rather than enemies.
So, assuming that I'm right in identifying what I see in your customer base, I think that we could do a lot of good for each other. Gallic products are in extremely high demand in many parts of Sirius, and many Sirian products, I can only assume, are likewise in demand within Gallia, so consider this communication Caledonia's official declaration of interest in working with you and bringing you whatever you may need.
In an attempt to demonstrate that we're not all talk, allow me to make a proposal that we both stand to immediately benefit from! Our friends at Ionic Industries, a Kishiro subsidiary, are noted for producing an inordinate amount of refined Platinum. Caledonia's market analysts have purchased extrastellar spectroscopy reports from the Cambridge Research Institute which indicate with a very high confidence that many of the star systems within Gallia contain some deposits of this metal, but in quantities small enough that its extraction would be absolutely uneconomical compared to the rich deposits found within our Sirius's own Galileo system -- by no coincidence, where Ionic mines theirs.
As such, if you at Port d'Adelie would be able to set aside some storage space for platinum, which we at Caledonia could bring to you in large quantities, I imagine that you, your Gallic suppliers, us at Caledonia, and our friends at Ionic would all stand to make quite a tidy profit, all while doing good in the galaxy by being at the forefront of cultivating durable economic ties between the unfairly-mistrusted Gauls (for truly, you bear no collective responsibility for the deplorable acts of a previous autocratic government) and the rest of humanity.
Please let me know what you think, and on behalf of CDL, we're all looking forward to working with you!
Have a wonderful day.

Bonjour. I am Celeste Martinet, Chair of the Board of Port d'Adelie.
I must admit that I am rather surprised to see Bretonians that are so enthusiastic about working with anyone that does business with Gallia. It is very encouraging to hear, and also means that the Port is living up to our expectations for it. As such we are glad to welcome your ships to our station, and our dock master has already set aside one of our berths for your use.
That being said, the prospect of having access to the Kusari market is very appealing to us, and we are more than happy to allocate as much cargo space as you need to make any Platinum deliveries that you see fit to bring us. If you so wish we can also provide goods for you to take on your return trip, we would provide several at the start and then if you have one that you prefer we would gladly keep extra stock of that good set aside for your ships. You should already find these goods on the station, feel free to browse through them at your leisure.
We look forward to seeing your ships and crews visit our little corner of Sirius.
