Seven years ago, Imperial and Federalist guns fell silent on the wartorn front of Thuringia in what is now called the Christmas Truce. Many of us still in service today remember the taste of the blood and tears that flowed freely as friends and families tore one another apart. The road to recovery has been long and challenging - but the peace of the Holstein Accords persists, and Rheinland will continue to rebuild and thrive as a people that may have at times fractured and bent - but prevail unbroken and stronger ever.
To all of you who have served, to all who have been blessed to have escaped the war, I wish you a happy Armistice Day.
