Greetings, Bristol Construction!
My name is Abel Deacon. I am part of New Horizon Industries' board, responsible for managin Elcano Manufacturing Complex. Our facility is located in Magellan system, 15 clicks away from Cordova Shipping Platform. Our contractors visited your facility in Galileo system multiple times looking for Platinum. Indeed, your organization does not disappoint, you always have a healthy stock of this somewhat hard to obtain precious metal.
The issue is that contractors, no matter the affiliation, are picky and have their own agendas. Therefore, we are looking for some stability in this regard. As such, we want to ask if your traders are willing to deliver Platinum to Magellan. We offer 165 credits per unit of Platinum and Cordova is selling MOX for 27 credits per unit for the way back.
The Platinum consumption varies according to our equipment production needs. Nonetheless, we would prefer to have 10.000 units always in stock. At the moment, our Platinum stocks are completely empty. As such, we ask: are you willing to deliver Platinum to our station?

Good afternoon Mr Deacon,
My name is Esme Blake, representing Bristol Constructions and Manufacturing as a part of Shackleton Operations Group. We’re glad to see that the Arcetri facility in Galileo has garnered a degree of notice, though I admit your proposal does puzzle me to a certain degree.
Arcetri operates along extremely generous docking permissions - nearly all parties are welcome there - and our general principles are that customers purchase from Arcetri directly, not that we supply our customer facility ourselves. There is a wide variety of customers for Platinum and, in my experience, Bristol does not have the shipping capacities to supply all of them. There is only so much a company can do, after all. In addition, Bristol generally does not take contracts which have no limit of supplied goods, even if the requested stock keeps at 10.000 units. I cannot after all account for any and all actions made by Elcano management which would utilize that stock of Platinum, nor would I demand that Bristol employees keep watch on the stocks of installations owned by those other than Bristol itself.
As such, I would believe that you are requesting a degree of convenience for your personnel and your ships and that, I believe, does cost. In addition to the normal profits generated by the movement of Platinum to your station, I would request that:
An additional payment of 500.000 sc be transferred to cargo vessels moving goods to Elcano for any cargo movement of 4.000 units of Platinum or more. Proof of transfers shall be made along this communications line, for which access shall be transferred to our affiliate corporations and groups, as well as proof of payments made to those cargo vessels.
The overall goal shall be of 10.000 units present on the station at any one time, to be continued until such time that 50.000 units of Platinum has been transferred to Elcano.
Bristol independent contractors and affiliate corporations shall take on this contract as desired, with no impetus on those contractors and corporations that the overall goal be maintained at all times.
If this is acceptable, I will be willing to pass on these details to our independent contractors and affiliate corporations.
I look forward to your response.

Greetings, Mrs. Blake
Firstly, thank you for responding promptly to our inquires.
Secondly, I want to apologize for my misfortunate way of framing the request: indeed, we cannot expect you to keep an eye on the stocks of Platinum on Elcano. This is my duty and the duty of my colleagues. What I had in mind but failed to properly express was that me or one of my colleagues would stay in touch on this channel and inform you when shipments are ... desired and the amount of said shipments. As such, we absolutely accept the third condition you mentioned.
Working backwards, regarding the second condition, I do not wish to impose on your company or on any trader willing to pick up this contract the burden of having to monitor the delivery situation (I even fail to see how it is possible for independent contractors to keep track of what other contractors deliver; I would assume only your station might keep track of the amount of Platinum that leaves your station, having their destination, Magellan).
As for your first condition, we simply cannot grant this. We believe that the route is convenient enough for most traders as the profit should be quite good and the Liberty Law Enforcing are actively safeguarding all trade lanes. As such, piracy risk should also be minimal. As a sign of goodwill, we are willing to offer a bonus of 100.000 credits for the first two shipments of 4.000 or more units of Platinum being delivered.
Lastly, I hope this clears all of the misunderstandings from my previous communication. I'm looking forward to your answer!
Oh, something I forgot last time: may this new year prove to be as fruitful as you desire for you and your company!

Good afternoon Mr Deacon,
I agree that the route is convenient for traders, close by, safe, and only moving through Liberty itself. As such, under normal circumstances, Bristol would prefer that customers purchase Platinum from our Arcetri installation directly. You and Elcano Manufacturing Complex, however, desire a special degree of attention and the burden of supplying your own installation - a degree of attention which, as I said before, costs.
If it was as you stated, that the route would be convenient and good and such, then Elcano should have no trouble whatsoever in attracting a base of nominally independent traders who would be willing to supply the station with such goods or your installation would simply supply itself directly - the normal course of events. This appears to not be the case.
As such, we believe that supplementary payments for shipments of Platinum to Elcano are very well warranted as you would be paying for the convenience of not having to supply the station as well as the inconvenience of those independent contractors and affiliate companies. Bristol is willing to negotiate such payments down to 100.000 sc per every shipment of 4.000 units of Platinum or more, but we feel that they are a prerequisite of holding the capacity to make such demands. A increase of profit by 25 sc per unit would, after all, incentivize traders further.
If this arrangement is unacceptable to Elcano Manufacturing Complex, then our apologies and our recommendation that your installation either supply itself or advertise itself to the greater trading community - possibly through listing your stocks and purchasing prices of Platinum on the Neural Net.
May the new year prove fruitful to you as well.

Greetings, Mrs. Blake
As I said before, I really do not intend this to be a burden on your organization or on any of your traders. If this is worth your time and your traders find the offer acceptable, we are willing to proceed.
I must admit, I'm happy that the bonus of 100.000 credits per delivery is suitable to you. As such, I am going to take it step by step and start small: No matter who does the delivery, be him a contractor or an affiliated corporation captain, we will pay the bonus of 100.000 credits for the first 3 (three) shipments of at least 4.000 units of Platinum. I'll personally make sure to pay it as soon as we receive the delivery report.
My proposition is that, if everything happens as expected, your traders are happy and your company is content to discuss further collaboration, we will pick this up again at that point.
As for you advice regarding the Neural Net, we've investigated that. It looks like there is a limitation on the number of items that can be advertised there for the time being. We took the decision of advertising the equipment we have for sale and taking care of our production needs by contacting third parties via relevant communication channels, such as this. If the limitation will no longer be applicable, we'll absolutely follow your advice and expend on the list of advertised items. Thank you!

Good afternoon Mr Deacon,
In that case, I will be sure to pass on this information and line of communication to our independent contractors and affiliate companies. We hope that you find this arrangement ultimately profitable.
