Hi there, folks.
I'm a lone Zoner pathfinder that passes through your neighborhood with some frequency, and I'm truly happy to see civilian life still stirring in a pretty forlorn place like Vespucci. The way civilization got demolished here was a tragic waste of its people's potential, I think.
Under normal circumstances, I don't ever stay long. Although, if you're quartering a group of freelance explorers like your station advertises, I think that speaks to values of independence and curiosity that we might share. That, and your station's perfectly positioned to set off to near most places in the Border Worlds, isn't it? Color me intrigued.
Could you enlighten me towards any residence requirements, if I wanted to keep a room on-board? I'd also like to help out some kindred souls, if I can. I've got a Dromedary built more like a scout but I can still move things around, if you need material.
My name is James Salworth, owner and administrator for the Tijuana Freeport. I'm always happy to hear when people take an interest in our little station out here. Wandering the stars was, in my youth, a great passion of mine, and it always brings me joy seeing others follow in the footsteps of the legendary explorers of old. The depths of space are far too vast for even the most dedicated spacefarers to ever get bored, hm?
I would be delighted if you would call Tijuana a home in the deep empty, and despite the Society's numbers there's still plenty of rooms at quite the bargain to boot, many of which rotate frequently between our patrons that come and go. Since you've offered to help with supply movement, however, I would be more than open to offering an abode aboard the station without charge, as I do for my other supply runners, should you bring in the occasional load of hull maintenance supplies.
If there's anything else you'd like to know about, I'm more than happy to help.
I hope to hear from you soon, miss. Have a wonderful day.

Thanks for the warm welcome, Mister Salworth.
Your veteran's intuition is plenty sharp about the lack of boredom. For me, it's the perspective that comes with the career, that's what follows me around. Even with all the internecine struggles here in Sirius, whoever wins or loses, we're set against a universe that pays our presence no special care. That terrifies some people, the degree to how small we really are against Creation, but to my mind it brings into focus what matters in life.
We're as much a part of the stellar landscape that we're charting as any of these stars are. That we're here to perceive deep space with our own senses at all is sublime to begin with, so endeavoring to do precisely that, learning from our surroundings and seeking fulfillment, that's a life lived well. I just try to stay grounded, and keep the value of other peoples' perceptions and what's around us in mind, that's all.
Speaking of that, your offer's plenty generous and I'm happy to partake. I've already delivered some material from the open market to one of your loadmasters the other day, so I can keep doing that any time I'm coming this direction. See the invoice, if you want.
I'm looking forward to seeing what the lodgings entail, but I'm not choosey. I'm sure it'll be lovely.
