The Gallic Navy Combined Fleet bids you well, fellow colleagues of the GMS,
I am operative "Rafale", part of the Gallic Navy Security Bureau. The reason I am contacting you today is to put you up to speed with the latest developments, and request your support in a matter that's daily business for you.
With the recent appointment of Theo Napoleon as the commander of the Main Fleet, things were put in motion and results are already visible. Among them, Fort Lune's operations were expanded. With the scientific data collected by our expeditionary research wings deployed in Tau-23, we have managed to gain the knowledge to start the production of experimental Jump Drives, for which the Security Bureau built a dedicated factory on Fort Lune.
Another relevant achievement comes in the form of the addition of a Docking Module factory. By this, we aimed to release part of the workload of nearby Maintenon Shipyard, and contribute ourselves to the development of our Navy.
Now, all these additions didn't came without a cost. As you probably are aware, our logistics division serves a totally different purpose, in the form of supporing naval operations. That leaves our fleet stretched thin and unable to support Fort Lune's operations at all times.
Here is where you come in. With our logistics division's inability mentioned earlier, we formally ask the GMS for it's support in keeping Fort Lune operational. However, let me be clear that this won't be a complete responsability handout to your organisation, and just a part-time support whenever it's needed. To be more precise, supporting our Advanced Scrap Smelter and Advanced Hydroponics Bay running is what we require. While our logistics captains have already started to adapt to the new challenges, they will be incapable of assuring Fort Lune's optimal resourse influx.
I would also like to mention our logistics captain's limitations in flying the "Pachyderme" Advanced Train, as it's not included in the current Naval Vessels Operational Curriculum at Compiegne Military Academy. Maybe in a future collaboration we can go into details about this subject.
Monsieurs, that would be all for now. We're looking forward for your reply.
