Within the span of about a week I ran into at least three different Order subcells, two of them fielding capital ships, all in the quiet backwater of Vespucci. Some of those sightings also coincided with heavy Navy presence.

I will keep myself brief. Operational details will be sparse. I vaguely believe to recall your name and face but this channel barely passed our security requirements.
Vespucci had been the scenery of a rather unfortunate development involving compromised elements of the Liberty Security Force. They were in hiding for several years and successfully slowed down our own operations against their kin within Liberty.
A while back, their flagship was cornered and would have fallen, if not for the untimely appearance of a warform. Whilst this threat was neutralized, the flagship managed to slip away. We still suspect it to be within the Vespucci system, which urges frequent system sweeps to root it out within the near future. From my understanding, Atacama is in loop about this but it appears you suffer from some internal transparency issues. I would advice you strongly to address these.
The presence of Liberty authority vessels indicates that either our own vessels or someone else's movements did not go entirely unnoticed. Thank you for informing us about this.

I would hope the Navy had spotted your ships, being ten clicks away from them and all. Chatting on open comms probably didn't help with stealth either.

When, exactly, were you planning to inform us about that? Once the Artemis was done ripping it to shreds? You have the audacity to talk to me about transparency issues, then do whatever the fuck this is supposed to be?
We better hear the full story now. Especially if whatever shot the Atum to shit like that is still out there somewhere.

Miss Flora, please calm down. You are communicating with us and therefore still believe we can issue a formal explanation of our actions. I hope you will find our explanation adequate as we are still committed to transparency with our collaborators. Any missing links will be explained as further questions will undoubtedly be asked. According to last time we had contact with O.C.V. Atum (until it had made rendezvous with Atacama Cohort), it was four jumps away from Vespucci and in hot pursuit of LNS Wyoming: Once an LSF battlecruiser, now converted into the largest capital asset in possession of the Infected within House of Liberty. The Captain has made a tactical decision to chase it though a jump drift. The same principle that Kishiro made devices work upon. For all intents and purposes we could’ve ended up in the heartland of Kusari, as much as Vespucci. Given the circumstances, I think it is safe to assume we did not inform you because the scale of the issue had not extended as far as Gaia's gaze. We do not inform our allies in Rheinland about what happens in Omicrons or Bretonia unless specifically queried, nor we would burden Gaians with every fleet movement of ours on the Kusari-Liberty border. Jump drive was a paradigm shift in this equation and reason for our misplaced warship. Whatever reason Wyoming has made to come to this place is yet to be determined.
The force that brought O.C.V. Atum to this state has been destroyed in entirety, save for Wyoming which has escaped. According to our information it had received severe damage but remains both space and jump worthy asset. I do not want to make any assumption on the significance of rift leading specifically here. Telling you whether Vespucci had been Wild covert hideout all along or merely another waypoint along the way would be a matter of baseless and unfounded speculations at this point of time. I hope you understand that more intelligence gathering and reconnaissance is required. Also, we are completely unaware of what we have ‘done’ on Vera Cruz. As far as we know it is a graveyard and reminder that Insurgency once existed, as well as Legion that preceded them. You will have to fill us in on the situation. Perhaps it is related to LNS Wyoming and its oversized calamari overlords.
I do however want to extend my thanks that cool heads have prevailed in the end. We would be equally uneasy if Caliburn-class ‘washed up’ at our own doorstep bypassing both our sensors and patrols alike and it would be understandable that said warship’s captain would be at high alert and judging each of his or her actions carefully. Hundreds of lives depend on both sides either way.

Anyway. Right. Jump drives, because why not? Like the cloaking wasn't problematic enough! But I suppose that explains a few things. Like our sentries missing an entire battleship coming in. I do appreciate your explanation, admiral, I really do. I'll pass this info along.
As for your question as to why here... Your question might just be an answer to one of ours. The Artemis was dispatched to Vespucci just about two weeks ago. They were sent here to reinforce the local garrison, as Atacama had come under pressure as of late. First ships gone missing, then raids began. Pirates, we thought at first. Maybe hired by Liberty or the old Legion remnants. Motley crews, in any case, no rhyme or reason to them. At least before they started throwing our missing people at us. I'm sure we both know what that means.
They've been crawling out of the Guerrero, down south. Not much of a surprise, given the nature of the place. I'd hazard a guess that's also where your calamari friends fled to. I'd also hazard a guess the matters might be connected, somehow.
Oh, and, Veracruz. It seems that in the process of dealing with the Wyoming, your men managed to take down a sizeable Nomad specimen. One which then proceeded to crash down into Veracruz. There is... Not much I can really say to describe the results. Once the big wigs are done talking I'll ask the techs to patch the Atum into our satelite feed. You'll have to see it for yourselves.
Suffice to say the situation is critical, to put it nicely. Vespucci is about to become a very busy place for us.
