There are lots of old commodities that still exist but don't have pricing, I don't think there are any plans to change that.

They brought back APM Advanced Hardware this update though. They're slowly bringing back old deprecated commodities if they make sense.
Fun fact, though, if you have any pscrap, you cannot sell it to a POB, like it's Kidnapped VIPs.
