I was born in the year 799 AS on Planet New Honshu. I was named 'Risu Pirumo-' before I later changed it to 'Rhys Filmore'. Ever since I was a child, I set my goal to join the Kusari Naval Forces, flying in the void known as 'space', freely as I would. I, however, was not the only child of my family of four. My brother, James Filmore, who was born in 794 AS, decided not to stay in Kusari for long, and is currently a Freelancer.
I was enrolled in a Flight school in 808 AS on Planet Honshu, although we spent the majority of our education on Battleship Nagumo. I graduated from the Naval Academy Flight School in 813 AS as a Chimera Fighter pilot, along with my friend Shoji Yakatanabe, who still currently stands as a Naval Forces Bomber pilot.
"Seems we have our whole life ahead of us Risu," whispers Shoji,"we've finally been able to reach our goals."
"Indeed we have," I say,"We finally get to leave Nagumo and protect Kusari. Been a while since we have ventured away from the Battleship."
"Heh, true. Becareful in the Sigma systems though, I heard that pirate attacks are common."
"Thanks, I'll keep that in mind."
I later was interested in joining a bomber squadron in 814 AS, and made the petition for the request of a Bomber, sending a letter to the Naval Forces.
Fortunately, they accepted my offer; but all the squadrons had full members, so I had to fly individually.
I was quite a successful Bomber pilot, as our battlegroup were usually always first to be recommended for a particular mission.
It then became the year 815 AS, my life took a turn on August 17th, one that would change my outlook on my life forever.
*Nagumo PA Announcement* "Could all fighter and bomber pilots please make your way to your vessels immeidiately, we have Corsair vessels sighted in Honshu, as well as one of their leaders, who is said to be in a Gunboat. I repeat, all pilots please make your way to your vessels immeidiately."
I take a small sip of Sake'.
"Seems like another squadron of Corsairs to take care of."
"Don't get yourself killed." says Shoji.
"Aren't you coming?" I ask.
Shoji shakes his head. "We have Blood Dragons to take care of in Kyushu."
"Well, all the best for you."
I make haste to my bomber, and launch from Nagumo, heading for the Honshu system. While I traverse through New Tokyo, a Gunboat Captain hails me.
"Where you heading?" asks the Captain.
"Heading to Honshu, Corsair squadron sighted in the system."
"I see, needing any assistance?"
"Probably not."
"Alwell. My name is Chen Kenichi, good to see another pilot around"
"Thankyou Captain"
I then made my way to Honshu, and went to the designated waypoint set out the Mission Briefing Co-ordinates. I suddenly found multiple enemy Vessels, Corsairs, a couple of fighters and a Gunboat. The Gunboat seemed to make its way for Sigma 13 not noticing myself and my comrades. On the other hand, the Corsair fighters dived in on us. We soon found ourselves being engaged by the Corsairs, lasers and missiles flying from one side to another. One of them, was continually jousting me, and was taken down with a clear shot of the Supernova. Many of my comrades had to flee from the immense number of Corsair pilots; some ejected, others had hull breaches, and needed to disengage. I then noticed I was the only one left in the group, still fighting the Corsairs. One Corsair was able to take hits to my thrusters, lowering my engine speed.
I could feel myself shaking for a second, and had to dodge the masses of enemy fire while thinking of the most logical option to do. The first thing that came to my mind was the Sigma 13 Jumphole that was nearby. Normally, I wouldn't suggest entering jumpholes, but this was my only choice.
"Sigma 13 Jumphole it is then," letting out the engine kill and accelerating towards the jumphole.
I engaged cruise engines and let out the Countermeasures. Fortunately, the countermeasures worked, but the enemies behind also engaged cruise. I dived into the jumphole, hoping it would make it.
To my unfortunate extent, there was Rheinland vessels outside the Jumphole, and they appeared hostile towards me. This must obviously be 'The Wild' we researched about back in the academy. Although heavily damaged, my only choice was to fight back. It was eather the Wild, or the Corsairs; not much of a choice though to choose from. I noticed a Corsair vessel on scanners; it was the gunboat.
"This is it," I thought to myself, "This will be the death of me."
The Gunboat fired its main turrets, seemingly firing at me. The projectiles were about to hit, so I braced myself for my conclusion. I suddenly have flash backs. Yet, all I saw in my flash backs was Miso Soup and Sake'. I think to myself quickly,"Blast, is that all my conscience can think about before I die?". Alwell, at least I could laugh a bit before I faded away.
A large explosive sound comes from behind me, it seems like the wreck of a Rheinland vessel. I look back at the gunboat; all I could do was stare in amazement. I turned my ship round and re-engaged the Rheinland vessels. In seconds, the Wild were destroyed, and the Gunboat turned around and faced my bomber.
"Are you alright there?" asked the Captain.
"I'm..I'm fine." I reply,"Why didn't you destroy me?"
"You were being engaged by the Wilde, the creatures both we and... the Order, refuse to let roam free space."
"Who are they exactly?" I ask.
"They basically live to protect mankind from the Slomon K'Hara, or in other words, the Nomads and the ones they have infected."
I remember hearing little about the Order, some people told me they were some sort of terrorist organisation, bent on assasinating world leaders. But at the moment, the Order don't sound as bad as many people may speak of.
"Thankyou" I say,"Where might I be able to locate the Order?
"You will have to go through a couple of Omicron systems, I'll transmit co-ordinates of the Order base to your Nav-Map Database."
"Alright, thanks again. Maybe I'll see you again sometime."
"Doubtful, but we'll see."
The Gunboat disappears off my scanners and into the midst.

I was busy on Honshu examining the co-ordinates the Corsair gave me, while my Bomber was still being repaired from the last engagement with the Corsairs and Wild. The Order Base the Corsair mentioned was situated in a place called 'Omicron Minor'. I know little about the Order, so these 'Omicrons' were fairly gibberish to me. Although, the more I examined the database, the more compelling I felt to find them. Shoji comes beside me.
"Still examining those co-ordinates Risu?" Shoji asks.
"Yes." I plainly answer.
"Its not like you're actually going to head there, is it?"
"Maybe; I might just have to find the answers for myself about the Order."
"Are you sure about that? It may be dangerous along the way."
"Positive. I simply must know about The Order, anyway, the Corsair saved my life basically, why shouldn't I trust this?"
"Maybe because hes a Corsair and they often betray people?"
"Nevermind that, at the moment, all I can think about is finding answers. I think I'll make my way for Omicron Minor tomorrow, if my bomber is repaired by then."
"...Becareful Risu. I'll send an equipment dealer to your vessel and get him to mount a Champion shield to aid you along your journey. Remember, you're venturing into an unknown area, be prepared for anything."
"Thanks, I'll keep that in mind."
I pour a glass of Sake' for us both. We start to talk quietly about what exactly happened when I encountered the Wild, and how the Corsair had shown mercy towards me, even though he had a straight, clear shot at me.
"I'll let you know, I might not return from my journey, as I may well join the Order." I say.
"Don't get ahead of yourself Risu. You can't make conclusions like that before you have even met them." says Shoji.
"If I return, you know I didn't join them. If I don't, I have either been destroyed, or I would have joined the Order.
The next day, my bomber was fortunately repaired. Although, the Thruster needed to be replaced. I began preparation for my departure, as if thinking that I wouldn't come back to Kusari for a long time. I also stocked up with ammunition, taking the advice that 'Nomads' often crawl these systems.
I leave Planet Honshu's atmosphere, and set my waypoints for Chugoku, the Blood Dragon main system. I set weapons to minimum, and turned thrusters offline, hoping they wouldn't detect any energy signatures from my bomber. To my extent, I made it successfully passed the main Weapons Platforms, and slipped past multiple Blood Dragon squadrons, using the asteroids to my advantage. I made my way for Tohoku jumphole, quickly reading over the Corsair's information on the system.
Tohoku System
Danger Level ~ 78%
Known Factions in system ~ Blood Dragons, Kusari Naval Forces (Infected), Nomads (Small amount)
Known Jumpholes ~ Chugoku Jumphole, Hokkaido Jumphole, Omicron 92 Jumphole, Nagano Jumphole
Known Bases ~ Ryuku Base (Blood Dragons), Tekagi's Base (Naval Forces [Infected])
I dived into the jumphole, arriving in a strange asteroid field. I then set my waypoint for the Omicron 92 Jumphole, engaging cruise and turning down my weapons. I suddenly detect a large energy signature, coming from right in front of me. I exit the asteroid field, finding this enormous asteroid in front of me. It seemingly had turrets, and they started moving, aiming at me.
"Oh blast."
The turrets suddenly start firing at me, large projectiles the size of a light fighter. I turn my bomber off automatic flight and switch to manual, pushing the strafe levers as much as I possibly could. I was able to get passed the first obstacle with minimal damage, but Kusari Naval vessels appeared in front of me, and strangely, the nomads were alongside them.
"They must be infected Naval Forces."
I turn my ship forty five degrees starboard, trying to dodge the vessels. They fire their Cruise Disruptors, but I managed to let out the Countermeasures just in time. The nomads start firing at me from a large distance. Their weapons damaged my shield easily, but I detected very low amounts of energy from them. I managed to shake them off, and I continue my journey into Omicron 92. This was my first experience in entering the Omicrons, I felt excited about entering the system, but at the same time, hoping that I wouldn't become a pile of space debris.
I then entered into the jumphole, and found myself in a green asteroid field. Nothing on the scanners, but I did find there was a power signature somewhere around the Tohoku Jumphole. I set my waypoint for the next jumphole, which was my destination, Omicron Minor. The lightning in the asteroid field seemed to brighten up the path, and I saw a large, shadow figure to my left. I turned my bomber towards the structure, until I found information about Omicron 92 in the Corsair's logbook.
Omicron 92
Danger Level ~ 15%
Known Factions ~ N/A
Known Jumpholes ~ Tohoku Jumphole, Omicron Minor Jumphole, Omicron-100 Jumphole
Known Bases ~ --Nomad Lair--
Seeming as the danger level was quite low, and the only base was obviously the Nomad Lair which must be the shadowy structure, I decided to take a closer look. I got fairly close to the structure, until I detected several hostile online turrets, which started to aim at my bomber. The turrets were basically as powerful as the Nomad Fighters themselves, so I chose to back off, and head for Omicron Minor. I then entered the jumphole, hoping I would not be suddenly destroyed by anything or anyone.
I enter Minor, but unfortunately, Nomad vessels surround me. I try to escape using my Countermeasures, but they didn't seem to work. I had no choice but to face the nomads head on, although clearly outnumbered. I started to fear the worst.

Attempting to engage cruise was futile, fighting back was useless, and the nanobots repairing my bomber were being blasted to pieces. I attempted to engage cruise again, once more; however, clearly futile yet again. I turned around a gave them all I had left, a couple of missile slots filled and guns already over-heated. That was until I found a single, unknown vessel on my scanner, which seemed to be closing in on me. The vessel entered visual range, emerging from the green clouds and black asteroids, it seemed to be some sort of Fighter class vessel. The grey, beautiful looking vessel started engaging the nomads with a vast array of weapons, many of which I had never seen before. I suddenly felt confidence, although outnumbered still, that this pilot and myself might actually make it out alive. I thought, 'why would he jump into a battle when its probably inevitable suicide?', but the pilot flew rings around the nomads, and took a large majority down with amazing skill.
"Who is this pilot?" I thought to myself.
Dodging the final shots of the nomad vessels, the grey fighter dived in on the last nomad and destroyed it with pin-point accuracy. Flying over near the grey vessel, he hails me, and I accept the comm-link.
"You alright?" said a deep, comforting voice.
"I'm fine. Thanks for helping me out back there, might have been space debris if you hadn't had come." I replied.
"Thats fine. Your bomber seems significantly damaged, would you care for me to escort you to our nearby base?"
"I would honoured."
"Alright. Keep close and don't lose me on your scanner range."
He eventually leads me to a white planet; I gaze and marvel, as I had never seen such a planet in my life before.
"Planet Toledo, the home of The Order," the pilot says,"Go ahead, land on Toledo, I'll meet up with you on the landing pad pilot."
"Alright, beginning landing sequence."
I enter Toledo's atmosphere, gazing at the land installation as I begin descent onto the landing pad. The pilot lands close by, and begins to exit his fighter. I also exit my fighter, and meet up with the pilot on the ground. He walks up to me and shakes my hand, with a small smile on his face, slowly turning into a serious look. "My name is Christopher Dangen. I'm affiliated with the Order Guard. I was called in to investigate a small signal which came from in your sector, which must've been your bomber's signal. And your name is?" he asks.
"Risu. Risu Fumore, I'm a Kusari Naval Forces pilot, I was planning on searching out answers about The Order. And, well, seems I'm here."
"Well then Risu, The Order is a highly organised group of individuals who seek to eliminate the threat to mankind, the Slomon K'Hara, who are commonly refered to as the Nomads. Some people, namely the nation of Liberty, think of us as terrorists. But they usually are concluding that we assasinated them in a form of terrorism, although they were infected by nomads. We primarily keep our influence in the Omicron systems, but go to great lengths all over Sirius to keep mankind itself safe. Although, the Bounty Hunter's Core Guild has recently shown interest in the Omicron systems. Main reason of this is because it is a remote area for our operations to take place, and because nomad systems are located in these distant systems. They are also interested in obtaining various technologies, either by taking them by force, or by stealing them, namely from The Order. It is therefore, an important requirement to protect Omicron Minor, the home of The Order, from the Guild. Of course, the Core Guild is are part of mankind, which is why we only act in self defence against such threats."
"I see."
"I notice you have an intriguing mind to know more about us. Would you care to enter the Toledo Lounge? We can discuss such things over a drink."
"Agreed. You have Sake' at the lounge, right?"
"Yes, we get all sorts of such beverages and drinks imported from Sirius."
Christopher Dangen leads me into the Lounge, and continues talking about the Order, and fills in the gaps about what I didn't know. I spent hours in the lounge, intrigued by every word of Christopher's. The more I learnt, the more I wanted to partake in assisting them.
Several Hours Pass
"I would like to thank you for all the knowledge you have given me on the organisation of The Order."
"It is my pleasure, Risu."
"I guess, its time for me to make my leave, I would also like to thank you for your hospitality. Maybe I'll see you again."
"True Risu. We may. Which brings me to another point. How would you care to leave the Naval Forces and join the Order?"
I froze for a moment, as I would've never thought he would have given me an invitation, so openly all of a sudden.
"Join.. the Order?"
"Yes. I noticed your flying against the nomads earlier today, it wasn't too bad to be honest, a couple of things you can learn and you'll be able to dual any vessel you may encounter."
"I...I... I will gladly accept this offer Christopher."
"Then its settled. Your quarters were already arranged aboard the Battleship Isis."
"Already arranged?"
Christopher again showed a small smile. "Often, men of your ethusiasm are quick to accept these life-changing choices."
"Oh, I see."
"Well, best you get some sleep aboard Isis. I'll be training you myself, and it will take place in Omicron-100."
"Omicron-100?"
"I'll explain later, its confidential."
"Alright. Good night Christopher. Thanks again for all you have done."
"My pleasure, Risu."
I board my bomber and launch back into space, and notice Battleship Isis in orbit to Toledo. I dock at Isis, and am greeted by various Order Agents. I then make my way for my quarters, but couldn't help but think how my life had changed in but a day.
"I'll see you again someday Shoji. And I will be there to tell you all about it." I thought to myself, as I slowly fell asleep.
