I'm generally new to this so still finding my feet and limitations :)

I'm normally kicking around the Brit and liberty systems atm looking for jobs and hoping to pick up a lead into a faction...

Glad to see shameless recruitment plugs already. Now join ZAS~, we fight slavers, make money and Zoners get the best looking ships.:D

The general line is join a faction and do not buy a capital ship, as usual of course.

Hello and welcome,

I am glad to hear you are taking your time to get your feet wet, rushing things around here can have negative consequences. Most factions do their recruitment on the forums here.

Be sure to check out a faction thoroughly before you join it, as it is a commitment.

You should also be aware that there are unofficial factions that can not recruit as much on the forums (like ZAS and EFL). We still work on the forums but are limited in recruitment here. These are perfectly viable options, just be sure to check them out before joining, like any other faction.

If you need help or have questions you can always ask on the forums. I also run a help chat, for new and old players alike, where you can not only get help, but also meet long standing members of the community and network. If you are interested their is a link in my sig which will give you the details.
