Was not able to reproduce this so I don't know if it counts as a bug or a glitch or memory corruption or whatever.

On my Upholder bomber, today, I fired on a gentlemans shields, and *poff* got disconnected when the SNAC "projectile" hit the target. Could reconnect immediatly, at the same spot in space. I did not re-engage that target, so I cannot confirm if it was due to hitting him. However I could not reproduce this whilst hitting anything else with the SNAC, and it have never done this before.

This happened in Texas, which I had jumped into via the Virginia Jumphole. I've heard of strange stuff with jumpholes before, could this be the case here as well ? In that case it must be a temporary glitch, as I "reproduced" the jump from the very same jumphole later, and then fired the SNAC (into empty space), without problems.

So, I'm clueless. Has it happened to anyone else ? Or should I worry about memory corruption or other hardware related problems ?

A bit offtopic but I want that trader's shield.

It can be the cause off several things, including the internt connection itself I doubt without being able to reproduce it you can come to a solid conclusion.

I like RP, where R stays for Role, not Retard.

Not a trader, an Outcast Gunship, so I reckon a gunboat shield.

Aww you ruined my day.

I am not sure if this may comfort you but it happens to me as well from time to time, except I know it is my net connection to blame.

Ok, thanks, might be time to reboot my router. I reckon severe packet loss could drop you from the server.
