Hi I'm a new member and would like to find out if there is a way of 'unlocking' the map in sp mode so I can see all systems and bases. I seem to get stuck in just one or two systems. I am new to the game and I would really appreciate some help. I am using discovery mod 4.85. Thanks. Is there a cheat or something?

Theres a couple of programs you can use to view the maps outside of Freelancer, not sure if I should tell you though and ruin all the fun!

Not that I know of without editing the game files a good bit.

I suggest you get either:

Freelancer (or FL) Companion
Or
Datastorm

Both will provide you with what you want.

I think you can somehow edit the inis to show the whole map in SP.
(Don't forget to reverse it when you go to multiplayer!)
But I don't know how exactly.

You can always use a program like Freelancer Companion, which has the whole map.

Freelancer Companion

A very helpful and easy to use tool for people who dont want to spend hours looking for places or filling their maps.

I only know of a way to do this for Vanilla items only, and it is via Ion Cross FL char editor.

For anything new to disco, I suggest using a program like FL Datastorm or FL Companion, it won't upload a map to you ingame but it will give you a general idea as to where to find things.
