Well, some of the unioner players saw that SW:ToR freighter I posted and wanted me to submit that as a unioner ship... but due to how it was modeled it'd probably not work well as a freelancer craft. So, I made this as a unioner transport, though it's still a work in progress of sorts, I always had a problem with making things look freelancer-ish.

It's got a cargo pod slung underneath the craft, and three turret platforms on top of the 'spine'... so only 3 weapon hardpoints, but if they were gunboat turrets it'd have enough firepower to attack enemy transports. I kinda went along with the idea of "broadsiding" enemies, like was suggested with the recent pirate transport model. Only one turret on this thing would fire forward, none would firebackward, but three could fire to each side. There's a cruise disruptor hardpoint underneath the cockpit section, mine and countermeasure hardpoints on top of the engines, and a thruster hardpoint inbetween the engines.

How would you get it so one would fire forward, none backward but all fire to the sides?

3 gunboat turrets is still pretty tame. doesn't exactly shape up to the 11 transport turrets a liner can bring to bear on you.

Unioners arent exactly well funded, they wouldnt be attacking liners either... just transports passing through rheinland. I'm sure that with a couple razors and a pulse turret you could fare well enough against the average transport =P

Yes, this doesn't quite add up.

Well they're up in Bering and Hamburg, so they get embargo breakers and those that can lawfully go between Liberty and Rheinland. Which is pretty much just OS&C and IND as far as I know. Both factions use a whole lot of liners.
