Care to elaborate?

All you have to do is be serious about your RP, and be willing to play fairly and have fun. The more you limit yourself, the less open you are to alternatives and creativity, the less likely you are to be a candidate.

Basically your prerequisites are common sense and good RP.

Seek fun and you shall find it. Seek stuff to Q_Q about and you'll find that, too. I choose to have fun.

Turkish has it by the right end. If you have the common sence of a door but the RP of some kind of god, getting in will still be hard. The list of things I usualy watch out for ;

Roleplay story. Not if its excellent or epic, anyone can write, but how much time and effort you put into it.
Ingame activity. How often you actualy play the game. We got plenty of people to watch the forums.
Understanding of the Nomad Lore and Roleplay.
Sanction history. This is realy a small thing, but if you've been repeatedly sanctioned for say cursing or OOC, no thanks.
Common sence. If for you 1+1=2 and the word lol in every sentance taboo, it's a nice little extra.
