i've got turn/pitch keys mapped to arrow keys so i can lie in bed with a wireless keyboard and do simple maneuvers for trading and such.
I've tried to use this in combat, so you can turn off to the right, but be firing off to the left without your ship following your cursor.
however, just tried it, and you cant turn your ship in rearview or turret view by remapping the keys.
also, i noticed there are roll left/right key setting that are by default unmapped, tried it and ship wouldnt roll, anyone had any success with this and/or found it useful?
If you're talking of the guy I think, one pulse rest secondarys, he is very good at what he does and hurts a lot. I'm guessing it's simply something he's practiced. It made mincemeat of my Roc, even without missiles :/

to roll you need to be in cockpit view personally i think we should be able to do it in open ship view but for some reason we cant..
