I don't think Rhienland needs a Battlecruiser to be honest. Their Cruiser is already pretty heavy, and Battlecruisers are a pretty useless middle ground between Cruiser and Battleship.

On top of that, Rhienlands military strength seems to be primarily based around fighter craft. I don't think they'd spend resources on a big expensive beast like a Battlecruiser. Especially not in a time of war when Liberty seems to simply smash their Capital Ships against Rhienland's forces. That's why the Fafnir was developed, is it not?

Quote:The blow struck against Rheinland following the events of the war of 800 A.S. placed a heavy burden on Rheinland's already struggling economy and military might. With her dearly bought fleets reduced to the broken testament to a curious period in humanity's history it seemed as though little could be gained save a lesson.

One which Rheinland took to heart.

The Fafnir bomber, brought into the field on the immediate brink of a long forseen war is the result of nearly twenty years of studious labor on how to best break the back of a foe's capital fleet... and restore Rheinland's military glory on the field of battle.
Nothing about that screams "Lets make a Battlecruiser!"

The others will hate me for the following statement, but anyways: Although your first model looks pretty awesome from the back to the 'neck' of the ship (the bridge is ugly), I do not think we need a battlecruiser in Rheinland. We have the biggest battleship with enormous firepower, which is superiour to every other battleship in the bloody Sirius sector. PvP whores tend to use that ship, sadly.

We (the RM) are a very fighter and bomber oriented faction, as many of our enemies in their capital ships might have recognized. That's why I would LOVE to see some carrier-like ship, which supports our RP. It's not neccessary to make that ship very strong in terms of firepower. A heavy hull, many bats/bots to support the fighters and bombers and a relatively high cargo hold for fuel support would be cool.

But that's just my impression. The time of the huge, slow and bulky Rheinland ships should be over. Daumann Heavy Construction was one of the main reasons of the 80 years war with their greed to sell the current capital ship line to the Rheinland gouvernment... their time is over. Rheinland needs quick but sturdy intervention vessels, we already have the huge ones...

But maybe I am wrong... in this case I need feedback.:P

I'd go for a nice, pointy nose, some sharp edges (ike on the GB) and a BS-like landing bay.

Just splice a battleship and a cruiser. Use the cruiser face, the battleship middle, and maybe three gunboat ends.

Rheinland doesn't need a carrier, mainly because the Rheinland BS is a carrier.

Besides, the real trick when it comes to Rheinland ships is the texture, if you've ever looked at a Rheinland ship you will notice that they have some of the most complex textures in the game.
