The docking bay door hissed open; a gaping maw ready to consume those who came near. The Barghest that was consumed was not what one would consider to be fancy food. One of the engines was oozing a black liquid from a gaping scar, the torpedo tubes were glowing from over-use, multiple gauges mired the hull, and the cockpit glass was cracked.
It touched down softly on the landing deck, the six spider-like legs shifting to accomodate the ship's center of balance. The whine of its engines died down and the navigational lights went dark. The rear acces hatch hissed open, spilling forth an eery red light.
"I want the ship looked over. You, work on the engines; you, tend to the torpedo tubes. If they are not working when I get back, you will end up under my needle," A harsh feminine voice seemed to purr out. Two forms skittered out of the hatch, beginning to scurry about and inspect the ship.
A female form, made evident by her form-fitting clothes, swayed forth from the hatch. Her head swiveled about like a falcon's, taking in everything at once to assess what was around her. Content that there was no threat, be it minor or non-existant, she moved along.
In the low light of the Junker base, her blue eyes seemed to glow like the headlights of a ship. Her blood red hair was pulled back into a pony-tail, the light dancing across the slick substance she used to treat it. Those who passed by stared at her narrow face, imagining it at a more convenient height.
She smiled slightly at them as they went by, recieving a hellacious blush in return. That amused her. If only they knew....
"Watch it!" A gruff voice barked at her. She stumbled, not even realizing she had collided with the swaggering brute. A camo tank top and unstrapped overalls were all the clothing he wore; it was the tattoos that seemed to be more of his ensamble.
She frowned, bringing her hand up to touch his arm. "Pity...You shouldn't cover the best part with these abominations...It makes it harder to follow the patterns...." She said in a seductive, yet dissapointed, voice. He frowned, pulling away from her hand. With out speaking, he quickly left her standing in the corridor. That warranted a broader smile.
Continuing down the hall, she began to hum softly.
"THE HULL HAS BEEN BREACHED AND THESCIENCEIS LEAKING OUT!"
