Just wondering, but what program do you use to make the systems in Discoverey (or anything).
I tryed using Freelancer Explorer, but sometimes the trade lanes are like this "Stanza (which is a pirate bas no where near where I want this tradelane to go) -> BMM[]DouglasMcfeur (which is the name of one of my characters on the BMM base that this is going to)
It SHOULD read: "Witney -> Ducklington"
Also, Characters I make in bars of bases and planets, when you click on them because they have a rumor, the rumor page bit is blank (apart from at the top it says RUMOR)
Last problem was that when heading to some bases and planets, Freelancer just stops and an error sign comes up. This also happened when I made a jump hole from New York to a system I made. When the screen went white (whislt jumping) it crashed!
Any help on this program, or a better program whould be EXCELLENT!!!
Many problems. Freelancer Explorer is what you should be using.. But you apparently didn't read the 3 tutorial volumes.
One, what is probably causing the trade lane messup, DO NOT have any mods activated whilst modding. It will screw up your FLE stuff, plus it might also mess up your files in the mod you have activated.
For the rumors, are you sure the base NPCs even have any rumors to offer? If not it will simply come up with a blank page like you got. If that is not the case, than I don't know what is causing the bug.
When FL crashes on a mod in a system you made, or near objects you've made, this tells you something is wrong. Move the jump hole from NY to a different system. NY is filled, and adding anything will crash it. The bug of it crashing while in the jump hole is because the system on the other side was messed up. There are some errors in your system that you need to fix.
(Tip: New York's system file is 235 pages long, exactly.. Thats a clue that it is just a bit too full. DO NOT touch ANYTHING of Li01 file.)
U could use Milk Shape. I dont know how to use it well but i got it
