I thought it was common knowledge among the Sairs and Casts that the Coalition sabotaged it. Anyway, I don't think realizing the Coalition blew up the Hispania is enough to reconcile the differences between the Outcasts and Corsairs. These are people that have been at each other's throats for centuries. That doesn't go away so easily. Especially people as hard as the two groups. Besides, I was always under the impression that the rift between the Corsairs and Outcasts happend after the Hispania was disabled, not during or before. I'm not so sure that it has anything to do with it.
You would have to do a lot more work leading up to this event, in my opinion. For it to just happen out of the blue seems a little lazy. Granted its hypothetical, but if you really worked at the history of such a move, not so much waiting for the reaction, it would be received a lot better.
Explain more ... I guess I missed something.
I'd say the only way the outcasts and corsairs are allied would be there is no more cardamine (all outcasts will die fast), or the corsairs get addicted (and in that case will die or become outcasts)
So to make it simple, one side MUST win the war.
I'd like you give me more explications, I don't get all of it.

Well it all fits...
Apart from the bit about gradual acceptance with each other, and the bit about them possibly expecting the houses to just forgive them like that...
Apart from that, it's a job well done.
I could see one side, or the other, attempt to 'go straight' and declare themselves House Hispania.
The Outcasts have already taken a step in this direction with the official sounding Commonwealth. They would have trouble gaining acceptance from Kusari and Liberty over Cardamine.
The Corsairs could gain acceptance from Kusari, Liberty, and possibly Rhineland. The trouble is the Corsair economy isnt strong enough yet. They have no stable food supply and no major exports apart from Artifacts.
And above all else, if the two Hispanics did sort out their differences and unite - they might not be keen on peace with the other Houses so much as conquest...
And I know if I were leading this united Hispania - I would go straight for the GMG's holdings in the Sigmas. if they succeed in dislodging them (a much greater chance united than divided), Hispania would then control the primary fuel supply for Sirius.
In short they would have the other Houses by the balls!
