This just in: Omni ships have attacked SiN Tech vessels inside the Honshu system!
The SiN Tech frigate, Unrelenting, reported heavy attacks by Omni ships Transport Delta 4 and Security Alpha 1. They engaged the Unrelenting at Aomori station. Witnesses from Aomori confirm that the Omni ships attempted to take down the frigate. Under heavy fire, the SiN Tech ship left the area and proceeded to run out of the nebula. Once they exited, the Unrelenting transmitted their sensor records to the KNF command on Honshu, further collaborating with their story. The two Omni ships proceeded to chase down the SiN Tech frigate until they finally caught the frigate and destroyed it. Several witnesses also tell the same story.
This reporter asks, what is Omni doing? What will the KNF think? What will Liberty do? Has Omni, repeatedly known for hiring former Xeno pilots, finally shown true colors and beginning a campaign of terror against any opposition?
For now, all we can do is wait. This is Marcy Cordell of GNN, signing off.
I am completely appalled by this unnecassary and pathetic act of hostility toward SiN|Tech. As an Angel, i've tried to communicate with as many factions and faction leaders as possible. I do know, with my numerous dealings with our closest arms dealer, that SiN|Tech will not fire unless fired upon.
When I received word that a lawful SiN|Tech vessel was attacked by another lawful vessel I immediately tried to locate Jamie Burton, captain of the Unrelenting. Once my mind was eased that Jamie had been safely delivered to Aomori, I contacted the aggresors. I can't afford to have conflicting information in my databases. The message was sent to Omni, asking their affiliation and status (tag and ID). Universal shipping mercenaries they said. Lawful attacking lawful to me. The response to me; we don't like being told what to do. Even if it is in someone's area of influence it seems. As I understand it, Aomori station is controlled by SiN|Tech.
I'm still at a loss over this. I'd like a straight answer as to who and what this "Omni" group is. There have been several accusations of them attacking the KNF as well. Please, someone, tell me what's going on so I can fix these inconsistencies in my faction database.
"This is Brian Silleto of GNN, and I have Jay Simon of [IND] with me here at New Berlin"
"Mr Simon, your thought on this attack."
"Well Brian, seems these mindless corporate thugs have just stepped out of the bounds of the limitations
of their existance round these ... Liberty corporation my arse. Bunch of no hopers in the market, with little
understanding of how to conduct themselves.
I shall be talking to the Epsilon main man, Pat Boone after this, and we shall be putting the wing on full alert.
Infact hunt and eliminate will be closer to the mark I feel. Anyone round here thinking they can operate out
side of the laws of Sirius have got another thing coming. They will be finding a very warm welcome around
all of our bases ...
Infact a draught to the KNF for even allowing this bunch of scum into Kusari space is being drawn up at this
moment, and I shall be signing it when we finish here.
See how they get out of this one." ...
"Well people, a very upset Jay Simon there. More on this soon I suspect.
This is Brian Silleto returning you to the studios."
Some say he is a proud member of: "The most paranoid group of people in the Community."
My dear, what we are seeing here is reminiscent of the "hostile" takeovers of ancient Unistat on Terra.
We have a corporate upstart playing fast and loose in an attempt to usurp the position of an old and reliable sector enterprise. Omni's business practices will soon wither in the light of day.
Their obvious association with the BDR hooligans is evident.
While they think they are being corporately "clever"; they will soon find that the market will not put up with their shenanigans. Neither will the House governments and militaries who are bound to receive fallout from their nefarious actions.
As a former banker and financier in Sirius, I would strongly advice Omni to rid itself of some top-level "brains", who have merely shown themselves to be greedy bottom-feeders.
The Free market hopefully will prevail again, with some judicious culling of its more shady pretenders.

We are not amused by these acts of aggression. The Kusari empire will enact trade sanctions against Omni and downgrade their status to 'unfriendly' if attacks in our space continue.
For some time, we have had our eye on Omni Industries, but this latest act of aggressive corporate espionage has crossed the line. If Omni does even the slightest thing wrong once more, I do believe we will ban them from our astrotime space ((OoC: Astrotine being like maritime, but in space)) ansd all Kusari territories.
SiN|Tech, I apologize profusely for this incursion of our laws. Omni is now officially unfriendly due to the act, and nothing short of a force majeure will change it.
Signed,
Madam Fiona H. deLuna
Ambassador of the Kusari Naval Forces
SiN Tech suing Omni Industries for 150 million credits for destruction of SiN Tech property and attempted destruction of SiN Tech property. SiN Tech says that this price -should- cover the cost of replacing the lost frigate. In return for this compensation, SiN Tech offers to not pursue charges against Omni, which would undoubtedly end with Omni being dissolved by the Liberty Government. However, SiN Tech has stated they will NOT sell any products to Omni or Omni employees (Current or otherwise), the Denial of Service writ just received from the desk of Miss Sinclaire'.
Omni has been given one week to respond, or SiN Tech will press charges in Galactic Court.
