Prelude:
Aboard Newark Station: The Plot begins
"I Always knew Father would never come back from this Contract I just knew it". Martin said after he received the news of his fathers death from a fellow bounty hunter. It was only a month after his eighteenth birthday and only a month after he began to fly his own Starflier he bought off a scrap merchant on the surface of Manhatten."Without father to teach me how to fly how the hell will I learn now?" A knock resounded through his room from the door.
"Who is it?" Putting down his PDA and then turning his attention towards the door.
"It is Paul, Mate can I come in?" Martin who had only just Met Paul a week or two ago who's Cruiser is currently docked at Newark for Supplies.
"Yes of course, come in." The door opened and there stood Paul Duncan Second in command of the LNS-Reckoning.
"Mate I heard you father..was killed by Outcasts."
Martin replied by saying "Yea I know."
"Martin this might not be the best time but your application to join the Liberty Navy has been Accepted." Paul said as he moved to sit down on the seat opposite to Martin.
Martin's eyes lit up "Really, you mean it really has been accepted?". Martin has always wished to join the Navy against his fathers wishes.
"Would I lie to you?"
Martin had the utmost respect for Duncan as he had been his fathers friend throughout the years, so he believed he would never lie to him."When do I start and where?"
"West point Military academy in a weeks time." Paul said "Now Excuse me I have told you what I came to say now I must return to the Cruiser We are about to Undock."
