HMS-Mombasa has been fined for:

Quote:6.2 Ship and equipment used must match tag and ID as closely as possible.
Flying a battleship with a civilian ID is unacceptable, especially by someone who should know better.
You buy the ship when you are in a position to purchase the correct ID only, and not before.

Fined 30 million credits, which is equivalent to the total cost of the guns mounted.

What the hell? I was setting up, What do you expect me to do? It was temporary, and I rped as a battleship when I had it.

Quite ridiculus for something to sanction over, Hah. Someone must have a grudge against lil' ol me.

We expect you to get the correct ID first then buy the battleship.

You should fly a fighter or bomber and do missions until your reputation is high enough to buy the guard ID.

Some factions in the mod allow you to buy bribes so you should check the bases for bribes as this can speed up the process of getting a good guard reputation.

Dont patronise me, Cannon. You know DARN well there is no bribe for millitary factions. If you point me to a BAF Guard Bribe, Then Ill understand this...
But I dont see one.

If your SERIOUSLY expecting me to fly one of those templar hunk of crap ships JUST to set up, Send me 2 mil the next battleship I set up. Otherwise, I dont see a reason to buy a ship to get another ship.

Makes no sense. Ive set up my JUGGERNAUT AND MY TWO RBS's and had never been sanctioned before for setting up with a civvy ID.

Someone probably has a grudge against me, Whoever it was, they didnt even say anything to me about what I was doing that was so wrong they needed to file a report... Funny, how things work here.

Damn lucky you never got caught before then old son, because if you had, you would have been fined
on every single occasion. You do not ever fly a battleship on a civilian ID, and that goes for everyone.
You are no different, and certainly not a special case round here.
And as for 'someone having it in for you' ... I doubt that, as I suspect very few people, would have known,
or in fact cared it was you. What the poster saw was a rather arrogant and churlish jerk who thought he
knew all the rules.
I suggest you treat people on the server with a little more courtesy in future, saves embarrassing moments
like this.

Now, Let me ask you something hoodlum.

What if I had a recruit ID?

Would that be better? Im asking a serious rule question here. Whats the point of the Recruit ID if the aswer is no? Because hell or high water I WILL NOT buy another ship to get a ship.

Its illogical.

Nope it would not have done, we have never ever recommended recruit IDs for battleships.
The only thing we have ever said, is have the correct ID and rep for the battleship before you buy it.

Hmm... Interesting.

Fighters/Bombers/Traders can use Recruit ID to set up. Why are caps excluded? Very funny how this community works, INDEED.

Nontheless... Case closed.

Cam, for someone complains a lot about 'lolwuts' and 'lolcaps', and I believe actively lobbied for more
control on them, you sure seem to know little about them, considering how long you have been here.
I suggest you acquaint yourself a little better ...
