Guten tag,
My name is Karen Blume and I represent the Alster Union. It has been raised to me quite some times that the proximity of both of our most well protected systems is somewhat a cause of tensions between us. Now, I assume that the position of each of us in this problem is ''You stay out of my backyard and I won't sneak into yours''. But, of course, I hope you do realize that in case Saar's position is revealed to the Rheilander Military, it will only be a question of time until they discover Duesseldorf, and then Vesupucci, that they will try to conquer and use as a forward system against Liberty in their war.
We always managed to hide the position of the jumphole to your system from other members of the RRA, and only a very select club of Union members are aware of Vespucci's extistence. I have noticed recently although a worrying number of intrusions into Duesseldorf. We have many patrols dispatched out there, but it seems like those vessels are cloaked to them, as they rarely even open fire on the intruders. If any of these intruders are to reveal the coordinates of Duesseldorf, Vespucci will be in great danger as I've stated earlier.
What I am going to suggest to you is a freeway between our systems to hunt down intruders. As an example, if my men notice a intruder in Vespucci with their long range sensors, they will mobilize and hunt them down. And if your men find an intruder in Dusesseldorf, they'd have the permission to hunt him down to keep the secret.
Of course, I understand that you would need time to think about it first. There would be no real consequences if you refuse this offer but a risk of our coordinates to be revealed sooner or later. I also am open to counter-offers.
Guten Tag as your people put it, Miss Blume, and apologies for the delayed response - we're still sifting through the mess the Tadao left for us. As far as entry into Vespucci is concerned, we will allow this, on the ground that you stick ten kilometers out from all bases, Ravager and Pandion excluded, at all times. Rest assured that these will open fire on you should you approach. In addition, you are to stay out of the Walker outcropping on the eastern edge of the system. We will, of course, do the same when entering your home as well.
In addition, we can have the HFBx Pandion, stationed by the Dusseldorf hole, provide information from its LRS scanning arrays to any bases of your choice. This will include comprehensive data on every vessel entering and exiting Dusseldorf and Vespucci. I hope the offer still stands and that these terms are acceptable - intruders have long been a thorn in our side, particularly the Outcasts, and I believe that this proposal will be mutually beneficial to the both of us.
