Takes place after the end of Part III in "The Retribution Chronicles"

The symbol flashed on the console of the abandoned Roc bomber, sitting on the pad on Manhattan. Anyone whom had done the research of the past 500 years would know what this symbol represented. This was the symbol of the "Children of Conviction". Or as they were commonly referred to in text, the "CoC". The bomber emitted a subspace signal as it sat on the pad...it's weapons, shields, thruster, armor, and everything of use stripped from the hull of the once powerful fighter. Along the hull were the words Sacrilegious, either the name of the fighter pilot, or the name of the ship itself.

When the police came upon the abandoned bomber, it sat in silence as they inspected it. As soon as they noticed the symbol on the computer screen, they called for backup. Within minutes, the Navy was there disconnecting the subspace beacon and tearing the computer system from the ship. They covered up all traces of the symbol existing on the ship and signaled for the ship to be taken to auction, where it would meet it's new owner, and his adventure would begin.

You fear oblivion. Yet you forget. The universe remembers every atom of your being. Even dust hums your name in the dark.
