Okay this is just basically a post to see if this is even possible. Its still on the drawing board. If it turns out it can be done, ill make a description and whatnot.
So basically, Could there be a faction that is dedicated to filming and photographing Sirius and its Inhabitants? We could film events, do film jobs for paying customers and just generally photograph Sirius.
So pretty much, at official events we will usually film for free (Most likely) and if a player wants to get some high quality video/pictures from a view not restricted to turret mode on their ship, they can hire us for a small amount.
We could also do a Weekly/monthly news report (Video and/or thread), reporting on big events, funny occurrences, current status and news admins would like to publish.
We could RP the group. The only obscure thing would probably be the use of Camera ships. (If we can get them.) We would still Role-play as though we were film crews or Cameraman. We would probably require neutrality towards most factions, I think the Nomads and other non-human factions need to stil be hostile. They don't get the concept of News and cameras.
Anyway I just want basic feedback and information about how this can/can't be done.
