Flying a new char with a merc id and i'm in a ravensclaw.

question is what tag do I want or need to end up with for this char...if any?

May change the id to outcast anyway but thought I would ask.

You dont need any tag.

But actually the server do not have place for mercenaries. Escorts are not required in the borderworlds as piracy is very reduced, and the wars that happens are between already powerful clans who dont need mercenaries.

I suggest you going to any of those lawful clans, for example, the new one called the Inquisition. This will help to stagnate the server so people will think better about the rules concerning piracy and the Neutral ID abuse. In case a change happens, a domino effect is expected (eg, more piracy = more jobs for mercenaries, as more escorts will be required).

Hehehe... I have an idea! Let's create some kind of clan of mercenaries, a strong one, and beat the warring factions:Pand they should hire us, individually:D

The last merc clan got disbanded because no-one was really interested. And I mean the Official mercenaires, not the AW or HF.

The SSO is a different merc clan, but they are slowly dying.

I have the idea to create a mercenary faction centered in Freeport 6, with mercenary ID and no tag. This faction should use bounty hunter, borderworld and civilian ships, plus the raven claw for a stealth wing. The idea is to provide escort in the Deuterium and Niobium routes, but only in the Taus and Independent Worlds as a start. Also war support and privateering contracts should be allowed.

Unfortunately this faction, called RAID - Raid and Intercept Deployment and Escort Services, will never see the light of day, because most players in this server are so obssessed with money, trading and battleships that they will not be willing to pay any escort. Also the lack of piracy dont give any reason for it. I was to create it in the Void server, but theres no raven claw there so I dont known how the stealth wing (used for assassinations) will work.
