A feeling of nostalgia has just recently rushed through my veins. I docked at a station and came across what appears to be a Swarmer from the Homeworld series. It doesn't look statistically like a nice ship, but I have always wanted to manually control one of those things..
Thank you for whoever put in some of these homeworld ships. I salute you for cameoing my favorite game.

Eheh, well, see, they're on their way out. When they were added, we didn't have a whole lot of resident modelers, and so we (devs) had to improvise.
We call them 'Imports' and try to replace them with custom models when we can.
But sure, go hug Igiss.

And the reason you're not seeing any ships from Homeworld 2, is because that that would break the copyright. Homeworld 1's engine was released as open source some time after the launch of Homeworld 2.
I wish more companies did stuff like that...
