Actually yes the AI does some turns that would kill you if you try to match them, but I think there's a patch for it, or someone was working on it

Yeah actually for flying enthusiasts FSX is the best thing out there due to it being "fun" and entertaining in comparison to X plane9 who is more technical.
But most pilots and student pilots I know prefer Xplane due to to its technical complexity, more realistic controls and stuff; but at the end they are very similar.

Used to play a really old one called Flight: Unlimited, the graphics were horrible, but I loved it anyway.

Older games of the FS series are pretty cheap.

Graphical sides its not uber, but the physics are good.
