Ok, whoever made the original Alice in Wonderland must have been on shrooms or something, now there is a new one coming by Tim Burton, he is basically on every narcotic ever conceived! Gotta admit though, it does look pretty good.

That's a common "idea" people come up with for explaining weirdness and imagination.

New Alice in Wonderland is... meh.


It's a followup to the book, which was just Alice wandering around observing things. It didn't have a plot.


This one is about some stupid battle between a crazy queen and the... Alice? Well she's the good guy, and she's now an adult. And remembers nothing.
Whole thing is pretty silly, although well executed.

Not the best of the best, and focus constantly switches away from Alice, to the Mad Hatter (who totally has a broadsword) and the Queen. Cause Burton luvvy wuvvy loves his two favourite actors ever...



It's not the best.

It's watchable.


I dunno how he got away with PG13 though, I can see the parents writing letters of complaint.

I liked it. Very funny at least.

Although Johnny Depp switching from Captain Jack Sparrow to Braveheart was a little disconcerting. Still a good movie though.
