I've been playing the discovery mod for a bit in singleplayer mode, but i've noticed that the player level will max at 38 (in the player profile screen). A lot of the new ships need a level higher than that. Will it still go over 38 without letting you know, or is it locked there in singleplayer?
i'm running 4.76. I've got a worth of over 6.2mill, and it my next level up is a mission.
when i go to purchase gun boats or destroyers, it says i need level 40-50
You'll have to complete your missions before reaching level 38 and buying capital ships. That's an SP campaign limitation, you'd be way beyond level 38 in multiplayer if you were playing in multiplayer.
