Hi, I have no idea if this is the correct place to ask this but her goes.
I am South African the gaming community here all suffer the same problem with high ping. So I setup a LAN that 30 odd of us play on about 3 nights a week on Discovery 4.85. I personally play on the UK server when the ping allows it but the other servers have ping far to high.
The setup I have is very basic and I am now having players ask me to get the server console commands to work but I have no idea how to do that.
I have looked at the server console and find no way of implementing the command console similar to the UK server. Can anyone help me here please. eg Commands like /restart (in a different system) etc. Plus how to reset the server so players have an equal chance of getting loot from wrecks. This has been the biggest moan of the LAN at the moment and I had to ban use of all codename weps to keep the peace as the players that joined first have of course cleaned them all out already which led to the guys using them moaning as well.
Stuck ships are a problem as well and UK has a /stuck command that moves the ship sideways.
