If you were to have a complete sentence that is quite understandable -
"Jawhol, Mein Kapitan"
Then we would have no problem with that.
But if you start talking with a complete sentence where it's possible that you could be misunderstood, then we want it in English. Now, you could talk with a German accent... "Ve haf vays of making you understand chust vat ve are saying, ja?" and that's also acceptable. But other than that - the in-RP / in-game reasoning is that our neural net implants act like universal translators, which is why everyone from Kusari to Rheinland to Crete to Malta to Dublin all speaks English.

Wraith 1: Wing, there's a contact ahead.
Wraith 2: Roger that, initiating cruise engines, priming scanner.
Wraith 1: Unidentified vessel, this is the Rheinwehr. Cut your engines and prepare to be scanned.
Sabre 1: When it snows in hell, Chancellor's dogs!
Wraith 2: It seems we've one of those rebels ahead, sir.
Wraith 1: Very well, prime your weapons and take him out.
Wraith 2: Jawohl! Fuer Bolschewiken gibt es kein Pardon!
Is the final statement (without considering 5.2) acceptable? Or should I just rely on my common sense in that regard?
I'd rather you didn't. Realize that while you know the language, the other person has no way of knowing if that sentence means "haha what a f***ing noob".
That said I also find "mein herr" to be incredibly annoying. It makes you sound like a hippie.
Well, Sov. You can never actually know if the other person speaks the language you're trying to use, thus attempting something like that would be rather... foolish.
Especially from a member who takes RP seriously and sees no gain in such an action. That's why I wasn't really taking that option into consideration.
Regardless of whether Soveriegn would rather you didn't do something like that - we on the Admin team would rather you didn't do something like that. It may be an immersive RP statement, but it's also not just common language.
That's also why we don't have problems with the Kusari people saying things like Konichiwa or Hai, but when they start saying things more complex than that...

For you perhaps. I'm growing grey hairs everytime i have to read such things.
If i understand that right, it would not be forbidden to say "Och verdammt" (Oh damn) if you are flying a RepEx Colossus/Behemoth/Yacht/Falcon/insertanyrheinlandshiphere and meet a group of let's say three pirats?
Edit: okay, the second one already got censored in english by the forum so i guess it shouldn't be used. Deleting it.
In a brilliant tactical movement, i charged backwards.
If an interjection is acceptable in English it should be okay in other languages, following the same conventions. Interjections are the best place to throw in bits of other languages, actually, since they don't add meaning- just emphasis.
