Discovery 4.78.2 Release

New release of 4.78.2 will be the only version of 4.78 published on TLR. It fixes all problems with the mod that were reported so far and includes several balance changes. Patch is not available due to large amount of modified files.

New in Discovery 4.78.2 Updated Release:

- Slipstream shield bug fixed;
- Bounty Hunters no longer carry chainguns (they increase lag, sorry);
- Added nolootshiparch.ini file (was missing from 4.78.1 initial release, needed only for looting script);
- Nomad capital ships made tougher;
- Battleships in missions are easier to destroy;
- Level in singleplayer increses up to 40 (instead of 38);
- Slight changes to infocards, new ships, equipment, mostly fixing misprints and minor bugs.

Discovery Open Singleplayer

This is an Open Singleplayer patch for Discovery mod v4.78.2 (link to page with Discovery 4.78.2). Open SP should be activated after Discovery mod itself.

This modification completely removes storyline from original game. It also allows you to choose your starting location, starting reputation and credits while activation. Changing uniform is possible from original Discovery activation menu.

Quick fix (to fix rank displaying):

Open file ptough.ini from \Data\Missions and delete all lines from
ptough_graph_pt = 3102674, 39
and higher.
So that the list ended with 38.

No you cannot use 4.78.1. Download 4.78.2, delete the previous mod version and activate new one.

All ready did. Because sometime last week i was able to get on using 4.78.1, dont know how but i did.
