Please Help a NooB: Discovery, screen resolution, roll ship...

Hi Guys,
i'm a new player ad i need your help please...

Discovery mod:
1) to play the original campaign of freelancer i must deactive discovery 4.85 mod? (i want try this before start "the sequel")
2) discovery mod improve the graphic game? it's possibile play the original campaign with improve graphic? can you post the link please

3) i see the guide for screen high resolution (http://discoverygc.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=49046) but i've same problem.... I try all the combination: -d1920x1080 that is my native resolution of my tvfullhd, -dWxH
-dx, an try a lot of other high resolution but this image is the result

Do you know how can i resolve this? (the only screen resolution that is ok, is the game suggestione resolution screen 1280x960)

4) sorry but, can roll the ship? how?

First of all welcome to the community!
Now to the questions, 1. Yes you have to deactivate the mod using the Freelancer Mod Manager (FLMM)

2. When you activate the mod, one of the options is to add in a "bloom effect" (It's the option that says something about editing a .dll to remove, it's that option).

3. You don't need to worry about putting the actual resolution number into the shortcut, simply put in -dx and it should change the resolution of the game to your current screen res. (Note that in order for this to not effect the HUD, you have to launch off of a planet first, then everything is fixed until you restart the program.

4. You can only roll the ship left and right with the roll keys from the Cockpit View (Ctrl+V i think is default?)


Agan, I say welcome to you and be sure to take a look at the server rules once you do restart the Discovery mod. Have fun with Singleplayer! It's one of the best single player stories in any game i've played.:yahoo:
