i found tutorial that let you change resolution of freelancer, i changed it, and it was almost fine, just, HUD went away, so i restored old files, and tried again. doesnt work anymore, now when i put 1376, 768 it changes to 800, 600 when i turn on game, even if i set perfoptions to read only, games still 800x600 without changing this file...
any ideas? (no, reinstall isnt idea)
Before tutorial you should use search and look official admin posts regarding that..
There is command line that you need to add to your shortcut path to edit resolution
Command line options:
-dx
Widescreen support, where the screen size is set to the current desktop resolution
-dWxH
Widescreen support, where W = screen width and H = screen height.
Edit: And restore all files to default ( as they were before using tutorial)
