Bonjour,

Today I bring bad news, mes camarades. Some of us decided to come home to visit our relatives in Gallia. Our squad was on its way to Champagne when a GRN patrol cut our advancing. We had to fight for our lives and soon, the royals were running like chickens. We suffered some damages and there was no way to get to Champagne in one piece. We had to return to Nimes. This is where another disturbing incident happened. Deux ships belonging to the Union Corse and Brigands decided it would be a good idea to ask a protection fee from our pilots. Our ships, damaged from the GRN attack were engaged by the said vessels and destroyed. Mon Dieu! All of them survived and are receiving medical attention from your doctors on Montpelier.

Now, I won't let something like this unpunished. I want the Brigands and the Corse to pay for the damage they did to SMP, not to mention the damage they caused to the council by putting a whole squad in medical. Just deux days ago I had to refuse a very profitable contract that was for us to kill Brigands, Maquis and Corse. Now, I'll ask the client if he still wants this contract to be fulfilled.

Piracy near our bases? I thought we were fighting for a better Gallia. What makes our Gallia different from the one ruled by royals? Gangs like the Corse that ask for protection tax? Royals have such a specie too... the junkers. What else? brigands? Pirates... they will pirate their own mother if they didn't do it yet. Our part of Gallia is unorganized messieurs. We need a police force to stop those attacks. I know that the Brigands are a great addition in our struggle against the royals but NOT at this cost. You can't let those thugs do whatever they want with civilians and allies just because they help you with the royals.

Maybe you know, maybe you don't... but we obtained some nice security contracts in Sirius and we pretend we didn't see the raids of the Corse and Brigands in the Taus. Weren't you trying to obtain support from the Sirians? The actions of those deux groups are affecting your relations with the Sirians. They sometimes use your technology to cause chaos in the mining field in the Taus. Those are poor workers that try to earn something to eat. I'm very sorry but this behavior from the so called friends of the Council won't be tolerated by my pilots. From now on, we shall use extreme force against those bandits that think that personal gain in times of war is more important than the general good of true gauls!

Monsieur Zacharie,

I am so sorry to hear of the trials you and your pilots have recently endured. I am also very relieved that all of them survived, and by the sound of it, without major injury. Please transmit all records of the incident on a private channel and I assure you it will be thoroughly investigated.

I also wish to inform you that the activities of certain "friends" of the Council outside of Council controlled space with other is something we cannot concern ourselves with, nor is the enemies they make in doing so.

I wish you and your pilots a speedy recovery.

Sincerely,
Xavier Richelieu
