allthough the outcasts sensing profit might have an interest, i guess the order has none. in fact, i m pretty sure the outcasts would very much like to have business with the order, seeing that the order is a keeper of high end technology and many secrets they protect jealously. ( nova technology, armor upgrades etc. )
Whether we agree with relevancy of the Order's alliance with the Corsairs or not, it still exists. Therefore I do think it would be OORP for an Order pilot to have any sort of friendly dealings with the Outcasts.

ON MY WAY OUT OF RETIREMENT
however, if we kept it that strict, there wouldn t be much left but corsairs. only order allies would have access to high end armor, only order allies would get novas and all that is connected to antimatter tech. - yes, the inferno with krakens are nice, but they won t cut it like novas.
Even the Order and Outcasts drifted away in 14 Jears, whats about "Kress"? It seems he had very good relations to the Outcasts and i'm sure he was willing and able to keep them.
Whats about "Hakkera" and the Blood Dragons?
Whats about "von Clausen" and the Bundschuh?
Last two were the most interesting characters.
So i think why not an Outcast having good relations to some Order members. It will need a very, very good Story behind this character indeed. Last word is up to the admins.
Let me... forgot the word. Hate it when that happens. Anyway, the kind of arrangement I'm talking about would kind of be like a few Outcast smugglers moving basic supplies through Alaska to Omicron Minor. The Order would be trying to limit their dependence on the Zoners and Corsairs, while they would pay the Outcast smugglers good for their services. Why won't the Order do it the themselves? Because they have good fighter pilots. Being a good fighter pilot doesn't exactly make them a good smuggler though, which takes a completely different skill set.
