graphics car goes NUTZ

since I"ve had to start using my 9 year old laptop, a probem with it has surfaced. The Graphics goes NUTZ. after collecting a number of the wierdest looking scenes, I chose this one to demonstrate just exactly what I see when the graphics leave this universe.
Im approaching Gas Miner Ogashawa in sigma 19 to dock.
I do have more if anyone is interested.

wow - reminds me on the end sequence of 2001 odysee:D- here is the solution, ... NO MORE CARDAMINE!

if you re using a detonator Nvidia driver, might wanne try an older one... sometimes that fixes bugs ( or ... maybe your computer runs too hot )

nice, i cant say what the problem is because im using a more recent ATI Radeon Card i think

Prehaps your character is in a virtual reality that is slow degrading due to bad programming..... or it could be your graphics card as others have already said, however incase that is not the problem you could try a reinstall of freelancer.

PS: I'd reccomend the reinstall first could be "space" box problems

EDIT: How long have you had your FL disc and is it in pretty good condition?

Could the posibility of a breakdown of your card be the source? I've had similar issues with a defective graphics adaptor in the past.
