Widescreen Freelancer

Hello,

I have a 23inch Full HD '1920x1080p' screen, but whenever i play Freelancer in widescreen my launchbar and the two bars on the bottom are chopped off...

But it don't work.

Ok.. as far as I know.. undo everything you did in red link underlined part thing.. only first tut that Cannon wrote works alone.

Best way to "undo" changes you made manually is to find original files.. if you have FL files that weren't edited transfer them or ask someone sends them to you or re-installing FL ( if you decide to re-install make sure you save / write somewhere your account code and signature ).

i have the same problem, youll also find that there isnt any system chat text (not on mine nyway)

tried the dx method, had same problem, i have lg 22inch 1680x1050, 16:10 ratio screen

The only problem if you use -dx for wide screen, it will mess up your in game map.....

Someone have to resolve it....

I'll have a look. I might try to make the 4.86 widescreen stuff available sooner. It is much better and resolves most of these problems.

Ive resorted to telling people "Its below this, and left of that" etc to get around my map problems
