As Afonso began to turn, a pistol slapped him in the side of the head, and he quickly turned it back to the front.
"Thats right! You thought you could run guns around here... shameful! We'll cure you of that notion..."
"But... I was told to-"
"Hey! If I wanted any of your lip, I woulda undone my zipper!"
As they reached the back of his open cargo hold, Afonso's assailant swung him around and pinned him against the side of the hull. Afonso caught sight of a strange logo on the shoulders and helmet of the man's black flightsuit.
"Do you have them?" The man demanded, menacing him with the pistol.
"Uuum.. the guns, compadre? I swear, I just carry them, don't use them, I don't even know the name of my contact, just the Number 'VII"! Come to think of it, that might be a lie as well!"
"A likely story! Just get inside the ship..."
As Afonso and his captor stumbled through the doors, the man in the flightsuit slapped the "Bay Doors Close" button on the wall, and as they shut, the lights came on, and the man holstered his weapon.
"Aight, sorry about that, had to make it look good, you know? I'm Lucky VII, you can offload them anytime, we've got some boys ready to cart them off. Cheers mate!"
With that, "Lucky VII" fired two shots into the the deck, and opened the door, wandering away nonchalantly.
"And that'll teach you to sass me!"
Afonso sat on the deck, bewildered. Why did he have to shoot the deck? Why?
Jack Handey Wrote:I can picture in my mind a world without war, a world without hate. And I can picture us attacking that world, because they'd never expect it.
Earlier this evening, an attack on target Charlie Bravo and target X-Ray Bravo had to be aborted due to the presence of heavy armaments and cruiser-support on their side.
This was made up for by shadowing target Mike Bravo into Omicron-96, where again, my GRU signature managed to catch a Bravo target unawares. His Titan was destroyed and relieved of several high-grade weapons.
Captain 'Kilo' of the <Classified> was able to provide cover for my identity, firing shots past my hull, as I returned to Freeport 9.
We are going to attempt to secure supplies from a group which is hostile to our parent body by taking out one of their foes. They took something personally, apparently. Fortunately, their target is also a hostile, so we destroy one enemy and force another to outfit us with supplies. Great.
Anyway, we've to destroy 'Days of Thunder' and provide evidence thereof. Play this quietly and appear friendly to our so-called 'benefactors'.
