Umm... the Nomad Laser Type I does 590/295, but I was talking about the Lesser Nomad Laser, the Keepers' class 9 variants (Nomad Assasins have more class 9 Hp's than class 10's). Yes, the (Class 10) Nomad Laser Type I does 590/295 at 4.00, but as I already told you, most average codes are better, not mentioning the number of higher class hardpoints of human ships.

That actually depends on taste.
I for instance think that Krakens are better then any code weapons.
Simply because they have 700 speed.
And if you didn't get my "whining and bitching and flaming" either, read my last post (before this one, ofc).
In my first post when i mentioned weapons i asked it to stop it there, because, i could see where it's going to end.
And i don't like it where it ended.
It was not my intention.

700m/s (seven hundred) HELLO?! 4.0 (four point oh) re-fire....HELLO?!
Only comparable CODES is SOLARIS with 100m/s less and 100dmg less....
(Please DON'T insult our intelligence. We know a thing or two about game mechanics ourselves. One of them being "High speed, high re-fire guns" have much better chance to hit. So damaga/energy is FAR from being ALL important stat of the fighter weapon)
But it's not about guns, nor ships they fly...its about RP. So lets get back to that. If they're given "the edge" cos of the perfect RP, I'd strongly advise they keep within their RP boundaries. Otherwise, some may think of them PVP whoring, which I was led to believe is "bad thing" on this server...
@Exile: Oh and we'r all better pilots than you, and cook better, and have cooler hairstyles (seems this "better pilot" flame needs to be inserted in every other post as requirement of the forum)

People can think of anything, chopper, regardless of what truth is. People think many things of factions out there, Keepers including. I'm not bothered, because many things here are based on guesswork, speculations, half-truths, mixed together with personal issues and many other things completely unrelated to facts, game and game mechanics at all. I told hows and whys, and what happens around. Common sense and ability to abstract from the sandbox to look upon it from various viewpoints isn't easy and certainly requires effort in this environment, I wish some did make that step. Spoken word has great power in tight communities, a passed phrase can do many things, and whether it contains a truth or lie becomes irrelevant. It's difficult to take no sides, it's difficult to work with new concept, but for me and many other players, whether they are members of the faction or not, it is worth going through. And I will keep going.
If someone wants to flame me - ok, feel free to do so, I'm not here to please absolutely every single player. Naturally some will like it, some will hate it. I have my preferences as well as regards what things I like or not. Can't be absolutely grey in the colorful kingdom. Look as to how people try to be neutral to everything, does it work? No.
If people want to compare very raw stats, discarding everything else - feel free. Will that change anything? No. Because it's far more complex than that, many factors affect the outcome, some of which are independent of stats, so like I said, this "comparison flaming" is very narrow as it discards most of the raw data resulting in biased conclusions, such cannot be authentic in my book.
Yes, but, was my suggestion so bad?
To edit your post and put whole Alpha and Gamma in your ZOI?
It can save you the trouble of blabbing here for hours, because someone thinks it should be there.
It is logical to me that whole Gamma and Alpha are in your ZOI, but you insist that it stays Nebula only.

Chopper, regardless of how things are written there will be different ways to interpret written text, some do it intentionally, some not, sometimes it's difficult to say which case is it. What is clear to one person can be totally a mystery for another and vice versa. I will remind once again - ZoI is not a physical border we can't go outside under any condition. Factions leave their ZoI to raid other factions for example, I feel there is need to point out who goes where and when, it's just plain too obvious. ZoI changes throughout the time to accommodate the main faction roleplay line, this month one faction is hostile to the other, another month they turn neutral, interest to their territory diminishes as a result and so forth. It's a dynamic world in it's essence. So I don't insist on that nor do I see a good reason why others want to restrict everyone so tight. Quite hypocritical to poke one's finger when there is a whole mess in their own garden, if you ask me. Especially coming without any proof of the claims and making fuss out of guesswork, as I pointed out on numerous occasions. They are losing credibility in the community rapidly with that kind of attitude, which indeed in the light of this situation can be considered quite a whining. Going further with restricting things around is about to put a small cage on large universe, freeze it to the point of absolute zero and let nothing ever done, self-restriction is generally a good thing, we are quite known to it, if we didn't there would be Keepers seen as far as Tau-31, but it does it happen? Nope. However on rare occasion there are far runs and expeditions that happen, it works quite well, adds value to roleplay when it's done correctly. So a lot of restrictions I imposed on my faction by myself was to make sure it does everything right and members learn how to play in restricted environment, but eventually some of those ties has to go off, because some of them are just way too much, I tend to believe no other faction have that amount of restrictions and harsh consequences for failure to comply. Such responsibility is a a very heavy rock, how many can carry it? Many independent players roam around all Sirius, bounty hunters completing their missions almost in any system. Putting down "cage" harms not just self but players around as well, it result is repeating self all over again, static universe. So I just stay reasonable in what my faction does, unfortunately some people just can't accept that and looking to nitpick, some go as far as making bogus reports and false accusations, which shows very bad behavior in such great community, it's a really shame to see such happening around. In the original post you wanted to know how we behave as regards the traders, I answered you despite that I could have ignored it and let people find out it in game, like it should be, because it's a part of "discovery" process as well and me explaining everything can be considered a spoiler. And now this... Nitpicking for the sake of nitpicking is simply wrong and add the ambulance chasers trend going around, some taking those things as "laws". Sure, there are server rules, there are factions rules, there are gentlemen agreements and much more, but I think there are too many lawyers-wannabes around, chasing ambulance cars, armed with myths, fiction and guesswork. The system list and the whole section regarding them will be revised at some point, I thought it was pretty clear, but I guess it's not, and like anything is prone to various interpretations turned inside out. I'm not a lawyer and I'm not writing a law book here, just making sure that public knows more about the behavior of the faction and as to hows and whys. Unfortunately I can't make everyone understand things the way I do them, no one can.
Not actually, it was more clarifying a rule, my original post.
Because, not much to discover if =BSG= member attacks and kills a trader.
Just wanted to know if those rules apply to you, or not, nothing else.
And i got the answer, and gave my thanks.
I know you'r most strict, and i believe that Keepers wouldn't survive otherwise.
Maybe you could sometimes organize an event, like, attack on Toledo planet, or something.
Or even better, something out of your ZOI.
I would agree and even cheer if that would happen.
Just can't understand you why won't you put whole Alpha and Gamma in your ZOI, when it should be there.
But then again, it's your faction, your problems.
I think we'r done here, thanks everyone for staying civilized.

I know it's not really my place... but why are people still posting on this topic?
Chopper's original question has been answered and it seems to me that this topic is slowly going away from "Keepers and Traders" into just a debate and it's unfair to see Treewyrm have to explain to everyone who just wants a flame.
Ok, I'm an RoS member. I spend a lot of time in alpha and yesterday the keepers came in and blew us all to hell. You know what. IT WAS AWESOME. They launched an attack. I had nomad guns on my ship (and still do) and so did most other RoS members so the RP was in keeping with what they've written. I have absolutely no problem with people leaving their ZoI if they didn't, there wouldn't be attacks, there wouldn't be inter faction RP and discovery would therefore be boring. As I understand it (please correct me if I'm wrong) the RP for the keepers is to keep Nomad tech under Nomad control. if they didn't ever leave nomad space then they would be totally defunct.
