I was thinking more of Joining Jedi Knight 2 and freelancer to make planetside and spaceside verse.
Kotor 3 is not in the works but there are talks of it using the MASS EFFECT engine.

Live combat + ability to pause to command your commarades.
I have Kotor 2 to thank for getting me into Freelancer online.
I had played Kotor 1 and loved it. I was much anticipating the release of Kotor 2. I bought it as soon as I could and played through it almost non-stop. I was so disappointed with the end of the storyline and the lack of closure for so many of the characters stories :angry:that I went through the old games drawer looking for something else to play.
Thats when I rediscovered Freelancer. Three years later here I am on Disco, and I have Kotor2 and its disappointing ending to thank for it.
Looking forward to playing the fix from Team Gizka.
Pip, you already can do that in 1&2. Pause it, then swap to another char, target, set attacks...
But yeah, Mass Effect engine = pwnage
Can't wait for Gizka to finish.

Treewyrm Wrote:all in all the conclusion is that disco doesn't need antagonist factions, it doesn't need phantoms, it doesn't need nomads, it doesn't need coalition and it doesn't need many other things, no AIs, the game is hijacked by morons to confuse the game with their dickwaving generic competition games mixed up with troll-of-the-day.
I played KOTOR II first as I couldn't find the original anywhere. KOTOR I truely is better, even after I learnt how to play etc in the second. I don't like the endings of either game actually. The Dark side ending of the original doesn't make sense with what Revan did next (Left the galaxy pretty much, or to the edges at least.)
and the second game..that just leaves you wondering what the developers were smoking at the time. Your ship falls away towards the planet core, but you apparantly manage to escape..
Apart from the endings, I thought the games were simply brilliant. Along with Zelda: Ocarina of Time, they are the best stories I've ever been a part of. The sheer volume of information, especially regarding the force etc, and all the options (You can redeem Atris, Kill her, leave her in torment..do a lot with such a minor (In terms of interaction length) character)
