We are positioned in Alaska for border patrol as requested. So far, we are being tested hard by wandering Navy craft as well as the Nomad recon wings. They have increased their number of checking salvos on us and we are rammed hard. I believe I speak both for Atum and Immortal when I say this.

We are in need of additional reinforcements or we may have to retreat to the Minor side of the jumphole and form a barricade, which may cut us off from our Liberty access.

We lost 7 craft so far. That is almost 40% of Immortal's fighter squadron force.

Sirs, I will be blunt; I cannot tame a bull with a stick.

I contacted the surplus requisitions officer to see if he could produce any pilots or ships,
as I expected, his answer was a measured..."Are you crazy?"

Our existing wings are working Sixteen-to-Eighteen hour shifts, and we need all the forces
we can get on the Delta front. You will have to work with what you have got. I will direct
the Atum to direct a fighter squadron to you, but that's all you will get right now. We
hope to get a breather in the next weeks, so you will get reinforcements soon enough.
