The first one is kinda meh. It's too conservatory and it lacks the 'modern/new/high tech' part. Also, the banner needs to have the three items in this order of importance: 'Daumann Heavy Construction', the slogan and then The Ring, which is just some cool background.

The second one is better as far as the layout of the elements goes, but it still lacks the high-tech feeling we're looking for. The whole company is having a facelift and we need something new and exciting. We already said no to transparent letters and the slogan's characters have to be close in size to the ones used for 'heavy construction'
