We had a corsair which found too hard pirating in Dublin and so he became a Molly. Though he changed ships but the situation is still idiotic.
The fierciest enemy "became" one of their own.
Sounds logical?
You can play the BAF commander that is a sympathiser with Mollys to a certain degree. He could look for peaceful solutions, he could look for a peaceful unification of Dublin, he could - given extreme situations - refuse to fire on Mollys, who he considers Bretonians. There could be a lot of good roleplay evalving from that BEFORE you get to the point where you actually decide to run off to the Mollys.
Taking the battleship with you is out of the question. It's not something you steal at night.
And: Bretonians would be hunting it like crazy, so it would be gone after a while. Since game mechanics can't express the final death of a vessel, it would be "Just THAT battleship AGAIN!" and you don't want to trigger that reaction, do you?
Yea, well. They have a lot of battleships over there.

And then get tazer flogged by the Admiral for insubordination.:)

He wasn't exactly trolling. Instead of a flat out "No", he gave you four valid reasons for why this hypothetical situation wouldn't work (all of which I agree with.)
A battleship captain would be a valuable asset to the Mollys in the capacity of the ships currently in their disposal, which includes the Rogue/Molly Destroyer. Stick with that and whine about it inRP while you play said ship. I also like Mr Henderson's post about RPing the battleship before you defect. It would be a great fall from grace/application to an official Molly faction.
Just because a post is sarcastic and perhaps a bit upsettiingly blunt to you does not make a troll or untrue in any way.

He must not know. And you must have good excuses, lots of good reasons and when you can't evade any more, run for the hills... ehm... Arry field in a stolen fighter. =) Up to that point there is a lot of interesting game in the situation.
I would just like to mention, he wouldn't be able to fire on his commanding officer anyway, as he doesn't personally use the firing controls. He tells his crew on the battleship what to do. If he told his firing officer to shoot his own commanding officer's ship, that officer would obviously not do that, and then someone on the bridge would put the captain under arrest while the rest of his bridge crew follow the original orders to destroy the Molly.
Afterwards, the Captain would be court martialled and most likely sentenced to death for treason.
No you can't have a Molly Bretonian Battleship. It's ridiculous, your story is extremely sub-par, and everything sad translation said was true, not trolling. He simply put your post into its real wording.
