So far i have folllowed Cannon's guide, but when i attempt to open the discovery.zip.flmod file, FLMM gives me an error reading
Quote:C:\Users\Tamm\Freelancer\Freelancer Mod Manager\mods\2009-06-09-Discovery485\Data\Audio\engine_sounds.ini contains an invalid path.Error. Unable to extract a file from mod archive '2009-06-09-Discovery485' File possibly corrupt.
and doesnt load the mod into FLMM.
It does this on both of the new downloads and the old version on my hard drive.
Help?

Try opening the mod file with winzip or similar and testing the file. These programs have tests to determine if the archive really is corrupt.

(It probably isn't if you tried multiple downloads, but it's good to know for sure)

You could try putting it in FLMM manually. Don't even try putting it in Freelancer manually. That just won't work. FLMM doesn't just copy files over, there is also a script that performs additional changes. You would get a corrupt installation.
