I just watched it in theaters yesterday. The idea is the same as many alien movies coming out recently, but it's a lot better than any of 'um. I mean, if you want to see an "aliens attack earth" type of movie, watch this or independence day. 'Cause the special effects and action is something you can only truly FULLY enjoy watching it on the big screen. So ya it was pretty cool, and unlike a lot of movies, at least an hour and a half of the movie was pure action.

Finally Michelle Rodrieguez didnt die in a movie.

Good movie, essentially independance day, byt centralised on one group of soldiers.

And the black guy DIDNT die first :D

District 9 was a beautifully directed and a surprisingly, immensely deep movie.

If Battle LA is anything like D9 in terms of substance then Hollywood didn't make it.
